General prayer

We thank you for your heart to pray for peace, prosperity, strength, power, healing and protection over this site and for everyone who comes here seeking prayer. We join with you in agreement and we are blessed by your faith to ask these things in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We are reminded that true peace is not as the world gives, but as Christ gives. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. John 14:27 and we are promised that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. For strength and power, we do not rely on ourselves, but on the Lord who says, Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 and we know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20. For healing, we cling to His promise, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 and For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. For protection, we rest under His wings, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2 and But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3. And for prosperity, we remember that God desires for us to prosper most of all as our souls prosper, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2 for we know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11.

We pray together for all who visit this site. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You for this place of prayer. We ask that You pour out Your peace upon every heart that comes here burdened and anxious. Let Your strength be made perfect in our weakness and fill us with Your power through Your Holy Spirit to live for You and to stand against the enemy. We ask for Your healing touch, Lord, upon bodies, minds, and spirits, according to Your will, and we ask for Your divine protection over this site and over every person who prays and is prayed for, guarding us from all evil. We ask that You would prosper Your people as their souls prosper, providing for their needs and causing them to bear fruit for Your kingdom. Above all, we pray that every prayer lifted here would be heard and answered according to Your perfect will, for we know that this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He listens to us. 1 John 5:14. Let Your will be done in each life, and let all glory be Yours. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue in this beautiful ministry of intercession. Keep praying without ceasing and keep trusting that our God hears and is faithful to answer for His glory and for our good.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank God for your kind and gracious prayer lifted on behalf of all who visit here, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

Your desire for peace is most blessed, for there is a perfect peace which this dark world cannot give. It is written, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That peace whispers within through the blood of Jesus, and it is a present possession even when duties press and sorrows surge around. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest, and to trust Him with loved ones far away is to know that in His keeping we are safe.

You have prayed also for prosperity, and we ask with you that the Lord would make peace in our borders and fill us with the finest of the wheat. The Psalmist connects such prosperity with the progress of the Word of God, for His word runneth very swiftly. True prosperity is not in numbers or outward show, but in the salvation of sinners, in the ministry of the Word faithfully preached and in prayer meeting well attended, and in hearts established in the truth.

For strength and power we look not to ourselves, for human strength will spend itself and fail, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. He gives power to the faint and to them that have no might He increases strength. When we feel some duty is beyond us we may stop and breathe a prayer for more strength, for the Lord Himself has said, I will strengthen them in the Lord. When there remains no strength in us we may fling ourselves upon that divine strength and find it wisely and fitly infused.

For healing we look to Christ, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the least thing about Him is full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was. And for protection we rest in Him who has vanquished death and all its powers, knowing that not one of His people is lost, but all are kept in the hollow of His hands.

So we pray with you, that the Lord would keep you and all who come here in perfect peace as your minds are stayed upon Him, that He would prosper His Word among us, that He would renew your strength as you wait upon Him, that He would bring healing by His pardoning hand, and that He would cover you with His protection. May all be according to His gracious will, and may He hear and answer for the glory of His name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We join you in prayer and thank God for your desire to seek Him for peace, strength, healing and protection.

We ask the Lord to grant you His true peace, not only peace in outward circumstances but the peace of God ruling in your heart. As Scripture teaches, Christ came to make peace between God and us, and that peace becomes the foundation for all other good things, the mother of joy and the strength that guards us. We pray that His peace would act as an umpire in your heart when thoughts of fear or distress arise, turning you to trust in Him and to live at peace with all people as far as it depends on you, joined with holiness and love.

We pray also for strength and power, not from ourselves but from the Holy Spirit, that you would be upheld in faith and enabled to walk faithfully. For healing and protection we ask the Lord's mercy according to His wise and loving will, that He would restore what is broken, guard you from evil, and keep you in His care. For prosperity we ask for what is truly profitable, first the riches of knowing Christ, and then for His provision for your daily needs as He sees best.

May the Lord grant these things as you continue to seek Him through Jesus Christ alone, for there is salvation and access to the Father only through Him. We commit you and all who pray on this site to His grace, asking that He would hear and answer according to His perfect will.

In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer and for your heart to see others blessed. It is good to bring these deep needs before the Lord, because He desires to give His people peace, strength, healing and protection.

The first thing Scripture teaches about peace is that we must have peace with God before we can know the peace of God in our daily lives. That peace with God is only possible through the blood of Jesus Christ, who made peace for us on the cross. When we are reconciled to God through Him, the war inside us ends. We are no longer running from God or fighting against Him. Then the promise becomes real that God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. Jesus said to His disciples, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. This is a peace that passes all human understanding, and the world cannot understand it. It remains steady even when everything around us is turmoil and chaos, as we keep our thoughts and trust fixed on the Lord. The Lord has ordained peace for His people and His thoughts toward His children are thoughts of peace.

For strength and power, the Bible does not point us to ourselves. The Lord Himself is the strength of our lives, our shield and our saving strength. The Psalm says, The Lord will give strength unto His people, the Lord will bless His people with peace. In the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength, so we are called to trust in the Lord forever. When our own strength fails, we can go in the strength of the Lord God, and He becomes our portion. That strength is not just for enduring hardship but for deliverance and protection, for He watches over and keeps those who trust Him.

Concerning prosperity, Scripture gives a balanced view. The world seeks rest in prosperity, pleasure and possessions, but those things can never satisfy. They are like a bed that is too short and blankets that are too narrow. True prosperity begins in the soul. The apostle John prayed that his friend would prosper and be in health even as his soul prospered. There is a real connection between the health of our inner life and our physical well being, and a merry heart does good like a medicine. God does want to bless His people, but the greatest prosperity is to have a soul that is prospering in truth, love and fellowship with Christ.

For healing, we believe God is the healer, yet His ways are not confined to one pattern. In the Gospels Jesus healed some instantly with a word and others gradually, sometimes with a touch and sometimes from a distance. All healing, whether sudden or through the natural processes God has built into our bodies, is from Him. He heals not only the body but also the mind and the heart, binding up wounds and scars within. His invitation still stands, Peace, peace to him that is far off and to him that is near, I will heal him. For those who continue in rebellion there is no peace, but for all who turn to Jesus there is forgiveness, restoration and deep inner peace.

For protection, we can rest in the promise that the Lord is our light and our salvation, of whom shall we be afraid. When we trust Him, our hearts greatly rejoice and we can praise Him, knowing He is our help and our shield.

May the Lord answer your prayers according to His perfect will in Jesus name. May He grant you peace with Him through Christ and then His peace to guard your heart and mind, strengthen you with His everlasting strength, cause your soul to prosper in His Word, bring His healing in the way and time He knows is best, and cover you with His protection as you keep your mind stayed on Him.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for sharing your beautiful general prayer for peace, prosperity, strength, power, healing and protection over this site. We are so blessed by your selfless heart to lift up all the prayers here and to ask that each one be answered in Jesus name. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for these needs.

We have continued to stand with you, asking our Heavenly Father to pour out His peace that passes all understanding according to Philippians 4:7, to grant strength and power to those who are weak according to Isaiah 40:29, to bring healing according to Jeremiah 30:17 and to cover His people with protection according to Psalm 91:11. We pray that He will also provide for every need according to His riches in glory.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray that the Lord continues to fill you with His peace and strength as you intercede for others. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name.
