General Prayer

Dear Lord I thank you for everything that you have given me, for the life, the joy, the guidance and direction. I also thank you for this great community of believers in here who are always willing to pray for us even when we post at a very high frequency, please bless them as well in all the things they do, and fulfill the desires of their hearts. I ask for forgiveness over all the sins and wrongs that I have committed. Recently I have messed so many things up, blatantly expecting to have a quick fix. I also have a lingering headache that is trying to divert me from my studying duties, please heal me so that I may be able to do my part. Father please help me as I go for the one week holiday. Help me correct all my errors so that I may be in the right path towards succeeding in what you have called me to do. My dreams and life in general feels quite tattered at the moment. I have lost the strength and will power to fight. I have lost much interest and I feel uneasy when it comes to studying. Father please help me with this. Deal with this boredom and make me that eager enthusiastic learner that I used to be. I don't want to reach later months and then decide that I have had enough. I want to pass this course and set an example for the people who will come later and to do that I really need your guidance and mercy. Please help me finish well the three exams that I have tomorrow. Bless my holiday plans which are studying hard and get into my academic rhythm, gain knowledge in different aspects of my field, building a knowledge-loving attitude, improve memory and retention of materials. Also I plan to improve my physique and physical health and appearance in general through physical exercise and better health care. To grow spiritually, acquire some important spiritual values, to overcome all addictions and bondages that Satan is trying very hard to establish whilst blocking our ways towards true victory, and to grow in faith, to inculcate good and professional behaviour as well as a positive attitude, to learn how to interact better with people and form stable relationships, how to become a better person in the eyes of other people, how to live an inspirational life that glorifies God. Having learnt all these I believe that I will be in the right path towards achieving the goals that you have for me and those that I have for myself. That is why I pray for everything in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
