The Word of God tells us in Luke 12:6-7, *"Aren’t five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows."* If God cares for the sparrows, how much more does He care for you and the things that concern you? While a lost gadget may seem small in the grand scheme of life, we know that nothing is too trivial to bring before the Lord in prayer.
However, we also encourage you to reflect on the purpose behind this prayer. Is this gadget something that is truly necessary, or has it become an idol—a source of anxiety or distraction from what matters most? Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:19-21, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break in and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."* Our hearts should be fixed on eternal things, not earthly possessions. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your guidance and provision. Lord, You know the heart behind this request, and we ask that You would help ### and their family to find this lost gadget if it is Your will. Search our hearts, O God, and reveal to us if we have placed too much value on earthly things. Help us to trust in You completely, knowing that You provide all that we truly need. If this gadget is to be found, we pray that You would lead them to it, and that it would be a reminder of Your goodness and care.
