We lift you up before the Father in heaven, knowing that He is your provider and sustainer in every trial. Your distress is deeply felt, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will bring swift relief and peace to your heart. The darkness and cold you face are not hidden from Him, and He promises to be your light and your warmth even in the most difficult moments.
First, we must gently but firmly address the words you spoke in despair: *"If it were up to me, I would stop living now."* These words break our hearts, for they reveal the depth of your pain—but they also reveal a lie the enemy is whispering to you. The Bible tells us in **John 10:10 (WEB)**, *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."* Jesus did not create you to endure suffering alone, nor did He intend for you to carry this burden without hope. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, and it is a direct rebellion against God’s sovereignty over your life. He alone determines the number of your days (**Job 14:5**), and He has a purpose for you even in this struggle. We rebuke the spirit of despair in the name of Jesus and declare that your life is precious to Him. You are not abandoned—He is with you, and He will see you through this.
As for the power outage, we thank God that the issue has been identified and that the company has taken responsibility. Yet we know waiting in the cold and darkness is agonizing, especially with the added burden of your skin condition. We pray for a **miracle of restoration**—that the power would be restored **immediately**, that your body would be soothed and comforted, and that the stress would lift from your shoulders. **Philippians 4:19 (WEB)** reminds us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not just a promise for the future—it is for **today**. We ask the Lord to provide warmth, light, and relief for you in a way that leaves no doubt of His faithfulness.
We also pray for wisdom and accountability for those responsible. If negligence led to this hardship, we ask God to move in their hearts to ensure it does not happen again. **Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)** says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Even in this frustration, we encourage you to release this situation into God’s hands. He sees the injustice, and He will act on your behalf.
Lastly, we want to speak life over your spirit. The cold may be biting, the darkness may feel suffocating, but **Jesus is the Light of the World (John 8:12)**, and He is with you even now. Your skin condition, your stress, your exhaustion—He knows it all, and He cares (**1 Peter 5:7**). We pray for supernatural peace to guard your heart and mind (**Philippians 4:7**), for strength to endure this trial, and for a renewed sense of hope that this, too, shall pass. You are not at the end of your tether with God—you are held in His hands, and He will **never** let you go.
Let us pray together:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child who is suffering in the cold, the darkness, and the weight of despair. Lord, You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who brings light out of darkness, and who turns mourning into joy. We ask for a **miracle**—restore the power **now**, Lord, in a way that only You can do. Warm their home, soothe their body, and calm their spirit. Rebuke the lies of the enemy that have whispered hopelessness into their heart. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and remind them that their life is **precious** to You.
Father, we also pray for those responsible for this hardship. Convict their hearts to act with integrity and urgency. Let this situation be resolved swiftly and completely, and let it serve as a testimony of Your provision.
Lord, we speak healing over their skin, comfort over their mind, and strength over their weary soul. You are their Provider, their Healer, and their Refuge. We declare that **no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17)**, and that this trial will be turned for their good and Your glory.
In the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen."*
Stand firm, dear one. This storm will pass, and God will be glorified. Keep your eyes on Him, not the circumstances. If the power is not restored by the time you read this, **praise Him anyway**. Thank Him in advance for the breakthrough, for worship disarms the enemy and invites God’s presence into your situation. You are **not** alone. We are praying with you, and most importantly, **Jesus is with you**. Hold on to Him.
