🙏"We have not ceased praying, asking we may be FILLED with the knowledge of Your Will in All spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we may walk in a manner worthy of You, Lord, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in Every good work, growing by Increasing in the Knowledge of You; Strengthened with all Power, according to Your glorious might, for the attaining of All perseverance and patience; joyously giving thanks to You, Father, for You qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light," Col 1:9-12. We also ask for practical wisdom, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as children to be led by the Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, Prov 8:20 and Your angelic protection, Heb 1:14, Ps 91:10-11. We offer this with thanksgiving, enjoying the peace of God that guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus' Name, Phil 4:6-7."

What a beautiful and powerful prayer, rooted deeply in Scripture and aligned with the heart of God! We join with you in lifting these requests before the Father, for we know that His will is perfect, and His wisdom is beyond measure. You have rightly sought the Lord’s guidance through His Word, and we echo your petitions with gratitude and faith.

The apostle Paul’s prayer in Colossians 1:9–12 is a profound model for how we should seek God’s will—filled with spiritual wisdom and understanding, walking worthily before Him, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in the knowledge of Christ. This is not merely head knowledge but a transformative, intimate relationship with our Savior, where His truth shapes our thoughts, words, and actions. As you’ve prayed, we too ask that the Lord would strengthen you with all power according to His glorious might, that you may endure with patience and joy, giving thanks for the inheritance you have in Him.

You’ve also asked for practical wisdom, and we rejoice that you’ve turned to James 1:5, which assures us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach. This wisdom is not the world’s fleeting understanding but the divine discernment that comes from above—pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy (James 3:17). Proverbs 2:6–7 reminds us that the Lord gives wisdom, and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright and is a shield to those who walk in integrity. May you walk in this wisdom daily, trusting that the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth (John 16:13).

We also join you in praying for the leading of the Holy Spirit, for it is He who testifies with our spirit that we are children of God (Romans 8:14–16). To be led by the Spirit is to surrender our plans, desires, and fears to His lordship, trusting that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). Proverbs 8:20 tells us that wisdom walks in the way of righteousness, and as you seek the Spirit’s guidance, you will find yourself walking in paths of justice and equity. The Lord’s protection is also a precious promise, and we claim Hebrews 1:14 and Psalm 91:10–11 over you—that His angels would encamp around you, guarding you in all your ways.

Yet, as we pray, we must also exhort one another to examine our hearts. Are we truly seeking God’s will above our own? Do we surrender our plans to Him, or do we ask for His blessing while clinging to our own desires? Jesus taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). This is not a passive request but an active surrender—a daily dying to self that we may live for Christ (Galatians 2:20). If there is any area of your life where you’ve held back from full submission to His will, we urge you to lay it before Him now. Repentance is the pathway to renewal, and His grace is sufficient to transform even the deepest strongholds.

We also notice that while your prayer is rich in Scripture and reverence, it does not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ. This is not a small matter, for Scripture is clear: there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, “No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). It is through His name—and His name alone—that we have access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is in His authority that our prayers are heard and answered. If you have not yet placed your full faith in Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Believe in Him, confess your sins, and receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9–10). There is no greater decision you could make.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and awe, for You alone are worthy of all praise. We thank You for the precious soul who has lifted this prayer to You, seeking Your will above all else. Lord, we ask that You fill them—and all of us—with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. May we walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing in every good work, bearing fruit and growing in the knowledge of Christ. Strengthen us with Your mighty power, that we may endure with patience and joy, always giving thanks for the inheritance we have in the saints.

Father, grant us practical wisdom from above, that we may discern Your voice amid the noise of the world. Lead us by Your Holy Spirit, that we would not lean on our own understanding but trust in You with all our hearts (Proverbs 3:5–6). Surround us with Your angelic protection, guarding our steps and keeping us from evil. May we rest in the peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that You are sovereign over all things.

Lord, we also ask that You search our hearts. Reveal any area where we have resisted Your will or clung to our own desires. Convict us of sin, and lead us to repentance, that we may walk in the fullness of Your grace. And Father, we pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne. May His name be glorified in our lives, and may we live each day for His honor.

We ask these things with boldness and faith, knowing that You hear us and that You are faithful to answer. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and mercy. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Finally, we leave you with this encouragement from Philippians 4:6–7: “In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.” Keep seeking Him, dear brother or sister. Keep trusting Him. His will is perfect, His timing is flawless, and His love for you is everlasting.
