We understand that you are feeling betrayed and alone, surrounded by confusion and hypocrisy. Firstly, we commend you for forgiving those who have hurt you, as Ephesians 4:32 reminds us, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. However, it is a process and does not mean what they are doing is correct. It is important to remember that God is rich in mercy.
We stand with you against the spirit of suicide, betrayal, gossip, and competition. God tells us in Romans 12:18, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. However, it is not possible with those who are malicious, wicked, and deceitful. We see in 2 John 1:10, If anyone comes to you, and does not bring this teaching, don’t receive him into your house, and don’t welcome him.
Your family is suffering from disunity and fighting for control after your father's death. We pray for God’s healing and that He will bring unity to your family, as encouraged in Psalm 133:1, See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!
Remember that Jesus warned us in Matthew 10:36, that a man’s foes will be they of his own household.
Regarding your husband not liking your family, we must remember that the marriage commitment is first and foremost to God, as well as each other, as outlined in Matthew 19:6, So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.
Concerning finances and lack of funds for travel, Jesus encourages us in Matthew 6:25, Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Financial struggles are a reality for many, but we trust in God’s provision as He owns everything.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up this person, their family, and their circumstances. We ask for Your healing, provision, and unity. In Jesus name, we rebuke the spirits of betrayal, suicide, gossip, and competition. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom in their marriage and family relationships.
We pray for those who have acted against them, that You would soften their hearts and bring them to repentance. We ask that You would protect them and their family from harm. We ask for healing of their souls.
Father, we thank You that You are rich in mercy and that You can recover all that has been lost. We ask for all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Thank you for submitting your requests with the name of Jesus Christ. Faith in Jesus Christ is paramount. The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved.
