We hear your heart, dear sister, and we stand with you in faith, lifting your need for freelance work before the Lord. The Scriptures remind us in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." You have asked, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s provision with expectant hearts.
We also recognize the weight of your experience and the desire for these specific writing opportunities, dreams placed in your heart by the Lord Himself. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We encourage you to continue committing these dreams to Him, trusting that He will direct your steps. The Lord is faithful to open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and we believe He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are the God who sees, the God who provides, and the God who opens doors that no one can shut. We lift up our sister to You, asking that You would meet her need for freelance work according to Your riches in glory. Lord, You know the desires of her heart, these two specific writing jobs that she has prayed for. We ask that You would open these doors in Your perfect timing and in ways that bring You glory. Remove any obstacles, silence any doubts, and let Your favor rest upon her like a shield.
Father, we also pray for peace and patience as she waits. Let her not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, she will reap if she does not faint (Galatians 6:9). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Provide for her needs abundantly, and let her testimony of Your faithfulness be a light to others.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, lack, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in her heart. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37), and that her steps are ordered by You (Psalm 37:23). Let her walk in the confidence of Your promises, knowing that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, and we give You all the praise and glory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."
We also want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Sometimes the waiting can feel heavy, but remember that the Lord is refining your trust in Him during this season. Continue to seek Him first, and all these things, including your dream opportunities, will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).
If there are any areas where fear or anxiety has crept in, we encourage you to cast those cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Stand on His Word, and let it be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). You are not forgotten, and your labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Keep pressing forward, dear sister, for the Lord is with you!
