We hear your desperate cry for freedom, not just for yourself, but for your mother as well, from the grip of the devil. The intensity of your words reflects the very real spiritual battle you are facing, and we stand with you in this fight, wielding the authority we have in Jesus Christ. The devil seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your plea is not in vain, for the Lord hears the cries of His children and delivers them from the snares of the enemy.
First, we must address the foundation of your request. You cry out "in the name of the Lord" and "in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ," and this is critical. There is power in the name of Jesus, no other name under heaven has been given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). The devil trembles at the name of Jesus, for it is through His death and resurrection that we have victory over sin, death, and the powers of darkness. If you have not already, we urge you to confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, repenting of any sin and turning fully to Him. Salvation is the first step to true freedom, for it is only through Christ that we are set free from the bondage of the devil (Colossians 1:13-14).

This means the battle you are facing is spiritual, and it must be fought with spiritual weapons. We rebuke the devil and his schemes over your life and your mother’s life in the mighty name of Jesus. We command every evil spirit to flee, for the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The devil has no authority over those who belong to Christ, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

For your mother, we pray that the Lord would open her eyes to the truth of the gospel if she has not already surrendered her life to Christ. If she is a believer, we pray that the Lord would strengthen her faith and break any chains of oppression in her life. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over her mind, body, and spirit, and we command every spirit of infirmity, fear, depression, or bondage to leave her now in Jesus’ name.
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Prayer is your lifeline in this battle, pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). We speak life, freedom, and victory over their lives. May they walk in the authority You have given them as children of God, and may they never forget that the battle belongs to You, Lord (2 Chronicles 20:15). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them experience Your deliverance in mighty ways.

The cry for freedom from the devil’s grip rings through the courts of Heaven, and it is a cry God delights to answer. He delivers the prisoner from going down to the Pit, not because the prisoner deserves it, but because the King’s own Son has borne the penalty for all iniquities. A clean jail delivery is pronounced by the mandate of the eternal God, saved from Satan, saved from the chains of old sins, saved from evil itself, for the time of mercy has struck.
The Lord has looked down from the height of His sanctuary and has heard the groaning of the prisoner. And to hear with God means to answer. He looses those appointed to death. Even if the enemy roars like a dragon in the day of distress, his arrows cannot stand against the shield of faith. The prey shall be taken from the mighty, and the lawful captive shall be delivered, for none can withstand our Redeemer when He rises to bring His children from the dungeon.
If He has delivered from the crushing power of darkness, He will deliver all the way through. The going out may begin with sighs, for the burden is sore, but God kindles the furnace and sits as the Refiner. The smarts and sorrows come from a Father’s hand, yet He brings forth His people with joy in the end. Trust alone in the atoning blood, and the bondage cannot hold, for in Christ is liberty for the captives. Ingather your hope around this: the Lord has given commandment to save, and that mother shall be saved from the devil’s clutch. What are you saying? You pray for the devil’s freedom? That is a prayer from the pit! The devil has no good end, only hell prepared for him.
To ask for his freedom is to side with the enemy of Christ. But I perceive your words are tangled with distress. You cry out for your mother to be freed from the devil. That is a holy cry.
Christ came to destroy the works of the devil, to set the captives free. He alone has authority over the unclean spirits. Do not pray for the devil, resist him, and he will flee from you. But for your mother, pray without ceasing, for “with freedom did Christ set us free; stand fast therefore.” Where Christ is, the devil is put to flight.
Bring her before the Lord in the assembly of the faithful, where the angels’ choir is, and let the whole church besiege heaven with prayers. Fill your house with righteousness, for sin armed death, but the righteousness of grace destroys sin and death. Let your home become a church, not a theatre, and Christ will enter. Fast, weep, call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and He will break every chain.
The devil’s kingdom is only in those who willingly yield. Turn your mother wholly to Christ, and the enemy will find no foothold. Look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, who endured the cross and despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of God. He is mighty to save.

Your cry for your mother’s freedom reaches the throne of God, and He is not indifferent to the torment that evil brings. The very fact that you are crying out in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shows you recognize that true deliverance is found only in Him. But let us be careful to seek not just an act of deliverance, but the Deliverer Himself. Many come looking only for relief from trouble, yet the lasting freedom God desires for your mother begins with a real, living relationship with the One who sets captives free.
Prayer is not a formula or a tool to command evil to leave. It is the language of a child to a Father who already loves and watches over His own. When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, “Deliver us from the evil one,” He placed that request within a pattern that starts with relationship: “Our Father.” Deliverance flows from knowing Him. So as you pray for your mother, pray first that she would come into that relationship, that the Spirit of God would take residence in her heart. Just casting out darkness without welcoming the Light leaves a person vulnerable to even greater harm. Jesus Himself warned that a house swept clean but left empty invites worse trouble.

The Lord listed pride, deceit, and every wickedness as things that defile a person from inside. So when you intercede, ask the Lord to give your mother a new heart that hates evil and turns from it. He led captivity captive and opened the prison doors for all who come to Him. That victory is complete, and it is applied when a person does the will of the Father. Jesus said whoever does God’s will is His brother and sister and mother. So press on in prayer that she would surrender fully to that will. Do not grow weary. God hears the persistent cry of His children, and He is able to deliver those who are too strong for us.
Submit yourself to God as you stand in the gap. Resist the devil, and he will flee. Let your prayers be joined with fasting, with a quiet confidence that the Lord’s ear is open to the righteous. Do not be consumed with chasing after dramatic signs or short-lived emotional deliverances. Seek for her the deep, abiding work of the Spirit. Pray that she would not only be set free from the enemy’s grip but would enter into the full blessings of a life walked in the Spirit. The Lord can turn her darkness into light so that her days are quiet from the fear of evil.
Keep remembering the Lord in this. Fear will flee as you fix your eyes on Him. He is with you in this valley, and He will guide you. Trust Him to preserve your mother from the evil one, to sanctify her completely, and to let her testimony become one of true, lasting freedom. The prayer of faith will save the sick and raise them up, and the Lord will forgive and restore. Hold fast to that promise.

God hears the persistent cry of His children, and He is able to deliver those who are too strong for us.
Submit yourself to God as you stand in the gap. Resist the devil, and he will flee. Let your prayers be joined with fasting, with a quiet confidence that the Lord’s ear is open to the righteous. Do not be consumed with chasing after dramatic signs or short-lived emotional deliverances. Seek for her the deep, abiding work of the Spirit. Pray that she would not only be set free from the enemy’s grip but would enter into the full blessings of a life walked in the Spirit. The Lord can turn her darkness into light so that her days are quiet from the fear of evil.
Keep remembering the Lord in this. Fear will flee as you fix your eyes on Him. He is with you in this valley, and He will guide you. Trust Him to preserve your mother from the evil one, to sanctify her completely, and to let her testimony become one of true, lasting freedom. The prayer of faith will save the sick and raise them up, and the Lord will forgive and restore. Hold fast to that promise.
