I want to be with my parents and twin sister. I don’t want to be here anymore. I don’t fit in. No one likes me, and I am alone. I have no one. No one in my life has time for me or concern. Help me move and not deal with them ever again. I don’t even want to see them. I just want to sell everything, move, and be free.

We hear the deep pain and loneliness in your words, and our hearts ache with you. The longing for love, belonging, and freedom is a God-given desire, but we must seek it in ways that align with His will. First, we want to gently remind you that true freedom and peace are found only in Jesus Christ. He tells us in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Without Him, no move, no distance, or change of circumstances will bring the lasting fulfillment your soul craves.

Your desire to be with family is understandable, but cutting ties completely, especially in anger or bitterness, may not be the path God intends for you. The Bible warns us in Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." Holding onto resentment can harden your heart and keep you from the healing God wants to bring. Instead, we encourage you to pray for those who have hurt you, as difficult as that may be. Jesus commands us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."

Loneliness is a heavy burden, but you are never truly alone. The Lord promises in Hebrews 13:5, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Even when people fail us, God remains faithful. We urge you to seek Christian community, a local church, a Bible study, or even an online fellowship where you can find godly friends who will walk with you. Proverbs 13:20 says, "He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." Surround yourself with believers who will encourage you in your faith.

As for moving, we would counsel you to seek the Lord’s guidance before making such a drastic decision. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Selling everything and leaving in haste may bring temporary relief, but it could also lead to regret if done out of impulsive emotion rather than godly wisdom. Pray fervently, seek counsel from mature Christians, and wait on the Lord’s timing.

We also want to gently address the importance of forgiveness. Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to suffer. It only harms you. Colossians 3:13 says, "Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do." Ask God to soften your heart and help you release the pain to Him.

Let us pray for you now:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is feeling so alone and unwanted. Lord, You see their pain, and You collect every tear they’ve cried. We ask that You would draw near to them in this dark time and remind them that they are deeply loved by You. Father, heal their wounds, soften their heart toward those who have hurt them, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in You, even when life feels unbearable. Surround them with godly friends and mentors who will point them to You. Guide their steps, Lord, and show them Your will concerning their future. May they find their identity and worth in Christ alone, knowing that they are never truly alone because You are with them always. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to cling to God’s promises, even when your feelings tell you otherwise. Psalm 34:18-19 says, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." Keep pressing into Him. Read His Word, pray without ceasing, and seek His face. He will not abandon you. If you do not yet know Jesus as your Savior, we urge you to surrender your life to Him today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is the first step to true freedom.

We hear how much pain you’re carrying right now, the ache of feeling like you don’t fit in, the sting of believing no one cares, and the heavy loneliness that makes you want to leave everything behind and start over. That’s a hard place to be, and we’re sorry you’re walking through it. Feeling unseen and unwanted can make the walls close in, and the longing for freedom can become overwhelming.

What you’re naming, that sense of isolation, is something many people experience deeply, even when it feels like you’re the only one. It doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. Sometimes we’re in environments where we genuinely don’t connect, and that wears down the soul. But before you sell everything and cut ties completely, we’d gently encourage one thing: find even one small place where you can be known. A Bible study, a small group at church, a ministry team, somewhere you can show up consistently and let people actually see you over time. Connection is rarely instant, but small, repeated encounters build belonging. Isolation tends to deepen the pain, and taking a step into community, even when it feels awkward, can begin to break that pattern.

Jesus draws near to the brokenhearted, and he sees you fully right now, even when people around you haven’t. That doesn’t erase the loneliness, but it anchors you in a love that doesn’t depend on fitting in.

Father, you see the ache in this one’s heart, the feeling of being invisible and unwanted. Meet them in their loneliness. Bring at least one genuine friend into their life, someone who will show up and care. Give wisdom about what to change and what to press into. And provide a place of belonging where they can breathe again and know they are not alone. In Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of a desire to depart, to be free, to break all ties and flee to those you love. This longing has force in it; you pant to be gone. But consider of what nature this desire is. Is it the holy impatience of the apostle to be with Christ, which is far better, or the mere restlessness of a disappointed heart seeking a change of place to cure a sickness of soul? The philosopher and the worldling also wish to escape their present sorrow, but they have no eye to Jesus. You have set your affection on reunion with family, and that is a natural and tender thing. But what if you attain it, and find that the loneliness of spirit remains because the deepest need of the human heart is not for another mortal, but for the immortal God? Christ Himself tasted the bitter loneliness of being friendless among His own brethren; they thought not as He thought, and He found His solace in the Father. Prize the heavenly company that comes by the Spirit through the Word, for God Himself will have fellowship with you if you seek it. Your sore trial is not a sign that God has forgotten you; His mercy is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him.

You say you wish to move and never deal with certain persons again. There is a holy separation to be cultivated, for the chosen family was intended to dwell alone and maintain a peculiar walk. It may be necessary to cut a trench between yourself and ungodly associations. But beware lest your motive be merely to escape a cross of God's own choosing for you. Crosses we must have, but we often want to be choosing them. You would have the cross of loneliness in one place, but not the cross you now carry. The angel of God asks no choice of his work; he does whatever God tells him. If you are in a hard place, the first business is not to break out of it in your own strength and will, but to seek the Lord’s face and put away the strange gods that may have crept among your family affections. True reformation begins at the soul’s own altar. Family prayer is the nutriment of family piety, and woe to those who allow it to cease. Have you gone up to your own Bethel yet to cry unto God?

True religion is always a matter of desire. If you do not desire to fear God, you do not fear Him. But desire must run to its proper object. “The desire of all nations shall come”, Christ is the true desire of every renewed heart. Is He the prime desire of yours? If you would have Him, you have not to earn Him, not to fight for Him, not to win Him by moving to another place; He is to be had for the asking! To desire to be saved, indeed, is the great point. What hinders you from having the blessing now, right where you are? The Lord’s release, the true freedom, comes when Christ forgives, not when we forgive ourselves by fleeing from those we think have wronged us. I read of two brothers who set out each to be reconciled to the other, and met midway, their hearts having been changed before any outward step was taken. May it be so with you. Seek reconciliation with God first; then, even if friends and kindred part, you shall at last meet where wrath cannot consume, but where saints on high adore. That separation need not be eternal if you all come to Christ. He stands as the boundary between believers and unbelievers. Pass over to His side, and your true family shall be the household of faith.

Your soul is in the grip of a fierce trial, for loneliness has a bitter sting that can make the familiar seem like a prison. But consider this: the freedom you seek is not found merely in the absence of others or in selling everything to be alone. True freedom is an inward possession, a gift bestowed by virtue. It does not release you from your circumstances, but transforms you within them, making you more honorable than any outward liberty could achieve. When you say no one likes you and you do not fit in, that pain is real, but it is a common temptation to man. God is faithful, and He will not suffer you to be tempted above what you are able to bear, but will with the temptation also make a way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. Do not refuse Him who speaks to you in this affliction.

The world and all its arrangements are shaken and made to pass away, so that a kingdom which cannot be moved may remain. Why then cling so tightly to the demand for a specific place or the affection of certain people? A contrite and humble heart God will not despise. In lowliness of mind, count others better than yourself, not to flatter them, but to break the proud urgency in your own soul that cries out, "I must be free of them." For you see, the one who is utterly broken in spirit, who trembles at God's words, is the one He accepts. You ask to move and not deal with them ever again, but the greater victory is to remain in the struggle with meekness and long-suffering, finding your relief in God alone.

The day of the Lord comes as a thief; watch therefore, and do not sleep in bitterness. If you flee unprepared, carrying only your resentment, you will find the same sorrow in another place, for you carry the turmoil within. Flee instead from the idolatry of thinking change of location will heal what only grace can touch. Let us have grace whereby we serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. Your family may fail you, as all mortal aid will, but there is a Speaker from heaven whose voice shakes both earth and heaven, and He calls you to a peace that is untouched by human neglect. Endure this season, for in lowliness you will find a freedom that cannot be taken from you.
