Freedom, Restoration, Protection and Breakthrough

Beloved of All
Please pray that my older daughter will hear that call to return, and that she will find the courage to step out of this bondage into the safety and love of home and family. I pray that the Lord will flood my daughter mind with supernatural clarity, so she sees this relationship as it truly is, not as love but as manipulation, control, dishonesty and exploitation. That she will recognize that her finances are not to be managed or spent by this young man, and that financial control is not security or love. That she will see that any plots, plans or schemes meant to divide and isolate her from her siblings, parents, family and friends will not prosper. That God will protect her at her work and at her events, that she will prioritize the purpose He has given her there, and that no jealous or disrespectful influence will distract her or diminish her gratitude for the work He has entrusted to her. I ask that God will convict this young man and his mother where they have overstepped, enabled wrong behavior and placed undue responsibility on my daughter. I pray that his parents will take proper responsibility for their own son and direct him to live where he should live as a single man, alone and accountable to his own family, rather than continuing a living arrangement that is not a home and not a marriage. I know God puts great priority on the honoring of parents. It is the first commandment that deals with our relationships with one another, and it carries a promise of blessing. Please join me in praying that God will restore in my daughter a humble, grateful, kind and gracious spirit, that she will again honor and be thankful for her parents and family, and that she will stop seeking the approval of those who would lead her away from that foundation. I pray for a shield of protection over me and my family. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children, trusting the promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and by Your stripes we are healed. I ask for supernatural strength, courage, grace and favor as I continue to follow biblical teaching and to speak truth in love. Lord continue to guide me to keep close fellowship with You, remain in Your Word, stay connected to healthy family and believing friends, and maintain clear and loving boundaries. Help me to continue to speak to my daughter with truth and grace, not excusing sin but always pointing her to the unconditional love of God and of her family. I declare my trust that nothing is impossible for God. I ask Him to completely remove the ungodly hold that has brought chaos, ungratefulness, disrespect and exhaustion, and to break every chain. I ask You Lord to fill me and my household with His Holy Spirit, with peace, love, protection and healing, and to bring complete restoration, unity, freedom and victory in my family relationships. Lord, speak to my dear daughter even now. Remind her that she is Yours, that You have power to protect her, provide for her and restore everything that has been taken from her. Lead her swiftly and without regret out of this dark path and into freedom, independence, self worth and joy in You. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We join you in this burden for your older daughter and we stand with you in prayer for her freedom, restoration, protection and breakthrough in Jesus' name.

We hear your cry for supernatural clarity and we agree with you that the Lord will open her eyes to see this relationship as it truly is. What you describe is not the love that God intends for a godly marriage. True love is patient, kind, selfless and honoring, as taught in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, it does not manipulate, control, isolate, deceive or exploit. Financial control and the spending of another's finances without accountability is not love or security, it is exploitation and we pray that your daughter will recognize this and reclaim the stewardship God has entrusted to her. We also pray that every scheme to divide and isolate her from her parents, siblings, family and friends will fail, for we cling to the promise in Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail.

We must speak truth in love about the living arrangement you describe. You are right to say it is not a home and not a marriage. In God's design, marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled as taught in Hebrews 13:4, and it is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. Any sexual intimacy or cohabitation outside of that covenant is fornication and sin before God, and Scripture calls us to flee sexual immorality in 1 Corinthians 6:18. A boyfriend and girlfriend relationship should be a courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer who loves the Lord, not a substitute for marriage. We pray your daughter will see that living together as if married without being married dishonors God, dishonors her own body which is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and places her in bondage rather than freedom. We pray she will have the courage to step out of that bondage and into purity, accountability and the safety of home and family. If this young man is not seeking to honor God and pursue her in a godly way toward marriage, then this relationship is not God's will and must be broken.

We also affirm what you have said about honoring parents. This is indeed the first commandment with a promise, that it may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth in Ephesians 6:2-3 and Exodus 20:12. We pray with you that God will restore in your daughter a humble, grateful, kind and gracious spirit, that she will again honor and be thankful for her parents and family and that she will stop seeking the approval of those who would lead her away from that foundation. We pray that the Lord will convict this young man and his mother where they have overstepped, enabled wrong behavior and placed undue responsibility on your daughter, and that his parents will take proper responsibility for their own son and direct him to live where he should live as a single man, alone and accountable to his own family.

We join you in praying for a shield of protection over you and your household. We trust the promise that He will give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways in Psalm 91:11 and that the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear Him in Psalm 34:7. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over you and your children, trusting that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb in Revelation 12:11 and that by His stripes we are healed in Isaiah 53:5. We pray for supernatural strength, courage, grace and favor for you as you continue to follow biblical teaching and to speak truth in love, not excusing sin but always pointing your daughter to the unconditional love of God and of her family.

We pray now together. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and have access to You according to Acts 4:12 and John 14:6. Lord, flood our dear daughter's mind with supernatural clarity and wisdom, for You give wisdom liberally to those who ask in James 1:5. Let the truth make her free according to John 8:32, and if the Son sets her free she will be free indeed in John 8:36. Remove the blinders of manipulation and control and let her see this bondage for what it is. Give her holy courage to step out, to return home, and to choose freedom, independence and joy in You. Protect her at her work and at her events, let her prioritize the purpose You have given her there, and let no jealous or disrespectful influence distract her or diminish her gratitude for the work You have entrusted to her. Convict the young man and his mother where sin has occurred, bring them to repentance, and break every ungodly hold that has brought chaos, ungratefulness, disrespect and exhaustion into this family. We submit ourselves to You and resist the devil that he may flee from us in James 4:7. Fill this mother and her household with Your Holy Spirit, with peace that passes understanding in Philippians 4:7, with love, protection and healing, and bring complete restoration, unity, freedom and victory to these family relationships. Guide this mother to keep close fellowship with You, to remain in Your Word which is a lamp to her feet in Psalm 119:105, to stay connected to healthy family and believing friends, and to maintain clear and loving boundaries while continuing to speak to her daughter with truth and grace. We declare our trust that nothing is impossible for You in Luke 1:37 and Matthew 19:26. Do what only You can do, break every chain, and lead this precious daughter swiftly and without regret out of this dark path and into Your marvelous light, reminding her that she is Yours, that You have power to protect her, provide for her and restore everything that has been taken from her. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, Amen.

We have been lifting you and your daughter before the Lord, and we hear the weight you are carrying as a parent who loves deeply and wants to see her safe, clear-minded, and free.

What you described, wanting to speak truth with grace, to keep close fellowship with the Lord and stay connected to healthy family and believing friends, and to hold clear and loving boundaries, is steady, faithful ground to stay on. A boundary is simply like a property line. It helps us know what is ours to take responsibility for and what is not, so we can love without being controlled and stay connected without losing our freedom to say yes and to say no. When that line is respected, relationships have room to breathe.

We are encouraged that you are already doing that hard work. One thing that can help in a long, exhausting season like this is not to carry it alone. Keep one or two trusted, grounded people, a pastor, an elder, or a mature believing friend, who know the whole story and can walk with you week by week, help you think through conversations with your daughter, and pray with you in person. And as you reach out to her, keeping those contacts brief, calm and kind, always pointing her toward home and toward the Lord's love, often protects both of you more than long, intense talks.

Father, we bring this mother and her daughter to You in Jesus' name. Guard them and bring protection over their home, over her work and daily steps. Give this daughter clarity to see what is true, courage to step toward safety and family, and a renewed heart to honor You and her parents. Fill this family with Your peace, strength and healing, and lead them toward restoration and unity as You will. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in earnest intercession for your daughter and your household.

We have heard your cry for freedom and restoration, and it brings to mind the prodigal of whom it is written that while he was yet a great way off his father saw him and ran and kissed him much. Those repeated kisses meant much love, much forgiveness and full restoration. The father would not let him say, make me as one of thy hired servants, but by that kiss his sonship was acknowledged. So we pray that your daughter may hear that same call to return, and that she may know there is a home where forgiveness is not measured out sparingly but where the Father restores fully and rejoices with exceeding joy over one who was lost and is found. Before there was music or dancing in the family, the father kissed him, and put his assurance beyond all doubt. So we ask the Lord to give your daughter such a clear deliverance that she cannot question His love and her place in your family.

We do not ask God to bless a living arrangement that is not a home and not a marriage, for we hold fast that marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and that to live together apart from it is outside His holy design. Rather we pray with you that God will flood your daughter's mind with supernatural clarity, that she may see this relationship as it truly is, not as love but as manipulation, control, dishonesty and exploitation. We pray that every scheme to divide and isolate her from parents, siblings, family and friends will not prosper, that financial control will be exposed for what it is and not mistaken for security or love, and that every chain of chaos, ungratefulness and exhaustion will be broken. For deliverance from sin and from the pit is solely by the power of God. He has found a ransom, and that ransom is Christ Jesus. It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy.

We pray for a shield of protection over your daughter at her work and at her events, that she may prioritize the purpose God has given her there with gratitude and diligence, and that no jealous or disrespectful influence will distract her or diminish her calling. We ask the Lord to convict this young man and his mother where they have overstepped and enabled what is wrong, and to lay upon his own parents the proper responsibility for their son, that he may be directed to live where a single man ought to live, alone and accountable to his own family, rather than continuing in a union God has not joined.

We join you in praying that God will restore in your daughter a humble, grateful, kind and gracious spirit according to His command to honor father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise. As it has often happened that by Divine Grace a child is the more readily led to God because He was her father's and her mother's God, so we pray she will again honor and thank her parents and cease seeking the approval of those who would lead her away from that foundation.

We plead with you the promises you have claimed, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and that by His stripes we are healed, and we pray that He will fill you and your household with His Holy Spirit, with peace, love, protection and healing. We ask for supernatural strength, courage, grace and favor for you as you continue in close fellowship with the Lord, remain in His Word, stay connected to healthy family and believing friends, and maintain clear and loving boundaries. May you be kept speaking truth in love, not excusing sin but ever pointing your dear child to the unconditional love of God and of her family.

We declare with you that nothing is impossible for God. He makes deliverance effectual and He brings His people forth. He can bring complete restoration, unity, freedom and victory. May the Lord speak to your daughter even now, remind her that she is His, that He has power to protect her, to provide for her and to restore what has been taken, and lead her swiftly and without regret out of this dark path into freedom, independence, self worth and joy in Him. We wait for that day of perfect restoration when the returned child is to the father as if she had never gone away, and there is music and dancing because the lost is found.

We will continue to bring all the necessities of your household before God in prayer, trusting His well of mercy within the family.

In the name of Jesus Christ, our only ransom and hope, we pray. Amen.
