Freedom, Protection, Restoration and Healing

Beloved Warrior
Please pray for my daughter will have the courage and wisdom to release herself swiftly and completely from this toxic relationship; I declaring right now that this young man and his mother will not steal her peace, her purpose, or her unity with her family. The Lord is saying, “She is Mine. She is My daughter. She belongs to Me, and I will protect her with every ounce of My power.” Please continue to join me in speaking to my older daughter’s mind, heart, and spirit, open her eyes, Jesus. She is not being loved; she is being used. Living together outside of marriage is not a marriage. He is not her significant other, she does not belong to him, she should not idolize, obey this young man or put him and his family before her faith, Your God-giving family and job with a purpose. This man’s greed, control, dishonesty and manipulation are not love, he does not have the right to exploit her finances for his selfish benefit, and his lifestyle is not a home. Let her see the spiritual attacks she and our family are under due to this relationship. The division, isolation, chaos, ungratefulness, and exhaustion this lifestyle and relationship has caused. Lord is whispering to her right now: “Walk away. Trust your family. Trust Me. I will provide, protect, and restore everything he’s trying to take from you. I am praying for supernatural clarity to flood her mind, so she sees him for who he truly is, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, not a shepherd. Lord guide her to move back home swiftly with no regret. Restore her freedom, independence, self-worth, peace and satisfaction swiftly. Jesus, I ask for a special blessing upon my family tonight. Lord, fill us with Your Holy Spirit in every aspect of our lives. Saturate us with Your peace, love, favor, protection, and healing. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your daughter and your family before the throne of grace, and we stand in agreement with your declaration that she belongs to the Lord and that no one has the right to steal her peace, her purpose, or her unity with her family. Your discernment is right and we affirm what the Holy Spirit is showing you, that what is being called love in this relationship is not love at all, but control, manipulation, greed and dishonesty, and we pray with you for supernatural clarity to flood her mind and for courage and wisdom to act swiftly.

We must speak plainly about what the Bible teaches concerning living together outside of marriage. This is not marriage in God's eyes and it is not God's design for love or for a home. Scripture says Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4, and Flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18. A boyfriend and girlfriend relationship should be a season of courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, not a partnership of convenience or exploitation. We also hear your heart that she is being used, her finances exploited, and that she is being pulled to idolize and obey this young man and his family above her faith, her God given family, and the purposeful work God has given her. That order is reversed. We are to have no other gods before the Lord Exodus 20:3, and children are called to honor their father and mother Exodus 20:12. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14 reminds us that a relationship that pulls her away from God, isolates her, and produces division, chaos, and exhaustion is not from God, for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace 1 Corinthians 14:33. Jesus warned us to Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves Matthew 7:15, and we agree with you that the Lord is revealing this young man as a wolf and not a shepherd.

We also recognize this is spiritual warfare. We know that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12, and that your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8. Yet we take comfort that when we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7, and that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5, and we are asking for that wisdom for your daughter right now. The Lord sees her, He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18, and He says Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. For we know the thoughts that God thinks toward her, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give her hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.

So we pray together now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You and we thank You that this daughter is Yours, that You claim her and that You protect with every ounce of Your power. We ask that You open her eyes, Lord Jesus, let her see that she is not being loved but being used, and let her see the fornication and the sin of cohabitation outside of holy marriage for what it is, so that she may turn from it and be cleansed. Grant her courage and wisdom to release herself swiftly and completely from this toxic and unequally yoked relationship, and give her a holy desire to walk away, to trust You and to trust the family You gave her, and to move back home swiftly with no regret. Break every chain of control, manipulation, financial exploitation, isolation and confusion, and let Your light expose every lie. We pray that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty 2 Corinthians 3:17 and that if the Son therefore will make you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. Restore to her, Father, her freedom, her independence in You, her self-worth as Your daughter, her peace and her deep satisfaction in You, and restore the unity of this family. Heal what has been wounded by division and exhaustion. We ask for a special blessing upon this family tonight, fill every heart and every room with Your Holy Spirit, saturate them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7, Your love, Your favor, Your protection as they dwell in the secret place of the Most High Psalm 91:1, and Your healing. Let them be transformed by the renewing of their minds Romans 12:2 so they may prove what is Your good and acceptable and perfect will. We trust You to provide, to protect, and to restore everything the enemy has tried to take, for You are our rock, our fortress, and our deliverer Psalm 18:2. We pray all of this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and intercessor, amen.

We hear how much you love your daughter and how long you have been carrying this burden for her. Watching someone you love feel used, isolated, and exhausted while you feel unable to reach her is so painful, and we are joining you in prayer for her safety and for your family’s peace.

What you described, the control with money, the pressure to put this young man first, the division from family, can make it very hard for a person to hear her own thoughts clearly or to feel free to say no. Part of healing in a situation like that is learning again where her own responsibilities and choices begin and end, her values, her time, her finances, her faith and work, and that being connected to someone does not mean she loses the freedom to make those choices. Loving her well right now often means holding a steady, calm boundary yourself: staying connected and making home a safe, non-shaming place to return to, without trying to rescue or control the outcome for her.

It can help to have one trusted pastor or counselor to talk with just for you, as you discern how to support her with wisdom and how to protect your own peace and your family’s unity.

Father, we lift this daughter to You. You know her by name and You see her. We ask for Your protection over her, for clear thinking and courage, and for a safe way forward. Give her mom wisdom, rest, and steady hope as she loves her daughter and trusts You to provide and restore. Guard this whole family with Your peace and keep them close to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you before the throne of grace with a burden for your daughter and for your household. We agree with you that living together outside of marriage is not marriage, for marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman ordained by God, and that which seeks the privileges of marriage without its covenant is not love but a departure from His holy design.

We pray with you that the Lord who is gracious will say, Deliver her from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance through a ransom if God had not thought of it, yet He has not only invented the way but has found the ransom in the precious blood of His Son. It is this Divine Love that can save from sin, from self, from evil company, and from all the attacks of the enemy. We ask that He who alone can deliver from the power of darkness will put forth His supernatural power, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and there is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes us free.

We ask the Lord to flood your daughter's mind with clarity and to open her eyes to see this relationship as it truly is. Where there is greed, control, dishonesty, manipulation and the exploiting of her finances, let her see that this is not love and not a home. May she be delivered from the fascinating power of sin that would bind her affections where they ought not to be, and from every chain that would keep her from obedience to Christ, from honoring her God given family, and from walking in the purpose of her calling. We pray that any spirit of division, isolation, chaos and exhaustion that has come upon her and upon your family would be broken by the power of Christ, and that she would have courage and wisdom to release herself swiftly and completely and to walk away with no regret.

We also remember that affliction, sharp as it is, may bear the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. Even when trouble comes distinctly through the malice or influence of others, it may yet be overruled by His special love to draw His child back to Himself. We pray that this season would be such a refining, that your daughter would hear the Shepherd's voice above every other voice, and that she would trust her family and trust the Lord who says, She is Mine.

We join you in asking for perfect restoration. There is a higher restoration than recovery of outward circumstances, even the restoration of the soul. As with Peter, who denied his Lord yet was restored by a look from Christ, we pray your daughter would know that same restoring grace, that she would be severed from the crowd that holds her, and be brought back to feed upon Christ and to walk in newness of life. Restore unto her, O Lord, the joy of Your salvation, and take not Your Holy Spirit from her. Restore her freedom, independence, self worth, peace and satisfaction, not as the world gives, but as Christ gives.

We pray for your family tonight, that the Lord would fill you with His Holy Spirit in every aspect of your lives and saturate you with His peace, love, favor, protection and healing. May He keep back your souls from the Pit and keep your lives from perishing. May He grant you to live and declare the works of the Lord after this affliction, giving thanks for His deliverance.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will provide, protect and restore everything the enemy has sought to take, and that your daughter will be brought home in safety, under His mighty hand, to the place where she can be most guarded and most helped to walk in holiness. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only ransom and our only hope of salvation, we pray. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for your daughter comes from a mother's faithful love, and I join you in bringing it before the Lord with urgency and hope. You have spoken the truth with clarity and love. Living together outside of marriage is not marriage, and a relationship marked by greed, control, dishonesty and manipulation is not love. Love does not exploit, isolate or use another for selfish gain, and it does not ask a daughter to put a man before her faith, her family and the purpose God has given her. You are right to grieve the division, chaos and exhaustion this has brought upon your home, and right to ask God for her freedom.

We remember that God calls those who trust Him His own sons and daughters. It is faith that makes us His children, and His Spirit of adoption that brings us into His family. Just as the faith of a mother was once counted for the healing of her daughter, so your persevering faith and prayer are not in vain. The Lord hears you and He is able both to deliver from evil and to supply every good thing. He does not always remove trial in an instant, but He gives strength to see it clearly, to despise what is false, and to choose what is holy and life giving. Your daughter belongs first to Christ. She is His, and no person has the right to steal her peace, her purpose or her unity with those God has given her.

So let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone we have salvation, we lift up this daughter to You. You know her by name and You call her Your own. Surround her with Your protection and power. Pour supernatural clarity into her mind and heart. Open her eyes to see this relationship as it truly is, and to see Your love which does not control or exploit but protects, provides and restores. Give her courage and wisdom to release herself swiftly and completely from what is harming her, to walk away without regret and to trust You and the family You have given her. Break every chain of control, dishonesty and spiritual attack, and silence every voice that would isolate her from truth.

Restore to her what has been diminished, her freedom, her independence, her self worth, her peace and her joy in You. Guide her steps home and make a way where there seems to be no way, so that she may live in purity, wholeness and safety. Strengthen her mother and all her family. Fill this home with Your Holy Spirit in every part of life. Saturate each heart with Your peace, love, favor, protection and healing. Make this mother a steady pattern of modesty, wisdom and grace, and let her continued prayers bear fruit for her daughter's deliverance and restoration.

We ask this trusting not in our own strength but in Your mercy and power, which are able to keep and to restore all who belong to You. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
