Your prayer for your daughter has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the Lord for freedom, protection, restoration and healing.
We agree with you that she belongs to the Lord. Scripture says God claims those who are His as sons and daughters, that He will dwell in them and walk among them and be their God. When a person turns to Jesus Christ for salvation, she enters that close, personal relationship with God as Father, not a distant ritual or legal observance, but a living and loving fellowship. That relationship is primary. When our relationship with God is made right through Jesus, other relationships begin to come into right order. When it is broken or neglected, every other relationship suffers. Sin always separates us from God and brings confusion and division into our lives and families.
The Bible is clear that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that living together and sharing sexual intimacy outside of that covenant is not marriage and does not carry the blessing or protection of marriage. We cannot ask God to bless what He has called sin, but we can ask Him to bring conviction, clarity and deliverance. What you have described, greed, control, dishonesty, manipulation and the use of her finances for selfish gain, is not love. Love seeks the good of the other, it does not exploit or isolate. A polluted environment is hard to live in without being affected by it, and we see in Scripture how God knows how to deliver the righteous even when they are vexed and worn down by the life around them. He is able to open eyes that have been clouded and to flood the mind with truth.
We are praying that the Lord will give your daughter supernatural clarity to see this relationship for what it is, courage to step away swiftly and completely without regret, and wisdom to trust God and the family He gave her. We pray she will remember and return to her first love for Jesus, to that early joy of walking closely with Him, and that from that restored fellowship she will find her true worth, freedom and peace again. We pray God will break the patterns of division, isolation, chaos and exhaustion that have come upon your family through this situation, and that He will restore unity, honor between parents and children, and a home marked by peace.
We also pray for you and your household, that God will fill every part of your lives with His Holy Spirit, with His peace, love, favor, protection and healing. May He guard your hearts and minds, provide for every need, and restore what has been taken. We trust Him to protect your daughter with His power, to guide her steps back to safety and to rebuild her independence and joy in Him.
Father, we lift this daughter to You. You know her by name and You call her Your own. Open her eyes, soften her heart, and draw her back to Yourself. Deliver her from what is harming her, set her free from every controlling tie, and lead her home. Heal this family and let Your will be done in each life. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
