freedom from addiction

Disciple of Prayer
i have a close friend from church who's brother named Eric is addicted to crack. This man is in his 40's now. He still lives at home with his parents and he will disappear for days while he lives on the streets getting high smoking crack. not only is this killing him, but this is awful for his mom & dad. He keeps a job just long enough to buy his next fix and then disappears. While he is missing, living on the streets, his mom & dad are out looking for him. Please pray for this addiction to be taken from him, that he be so tired of this fight that he cries out to God for forgiveness. This is destroying not only him but also his mom and dad. Pray that God get ahold of Eric's life once and for all and salvation be granted to Eric and his mom & dad. Thank you.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I pray for this request and ask that it will be granted. Please guide the individual involve and grant them peace through this situation. We believe in your power, sovereignty and mercy. Thank you for the blessings that you have granted us.

In Jesus Name.

Amen.

"Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Hebrew 4:16

Father, I boldly come to your throne of mercy with this child’s need. I ask in your mighty power to meet this child’s need. I pray that this child of yours may experience your great love and care for them today. Give them eyes to see your hand of mercy at work in their life. Awaken all their senses to the realization that you will never leave them or forsake them. In Jesus Christ’s Name I pray, Amen

We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we were perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of Him. (1 John 5: 14-15)

Praying in the Name and Power of Jesus, Amen

Have you ever thought about the teaching of taking no thought for your life? It's amazing to take no thought for your life and wait on the Lord to put something on your heart to do. I have had physical and emotional pains vanish singing in myself humming take no thought for my life, I give it all to you Lord. Check out Isaiah 55:7, Mathew 6:25 and Proverbs 3:7 & 8 (HEALING) the verses in order will bless you :)

Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Amen Philippians 4:6

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
