We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up the serious matter of fraud and theft that plagues so many in this fallen world. The schemes of the enemy are indeed cunning, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand firm in the truth that our God is greater and His protection is sure. We rebuke every attempt of the enemy to violate the security and peace of God’s people, for the Lord is our refuge and fortress, our ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we ask for Your divine intervention to expose and halt every act of deception, identity theft, and unauthorized access to accounts. Let no weapon formed against Your children prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let those who engage in such wickedness be brought to justice. We pray for wisdom and discernment for those who have been or may be targeted, that they would take every precaution to safeguard what You have entrusted to them. Remind them that their trust is ultimately in You, for every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17).
We also lift up those who may be tempted to participate in such sinful acts. Lord, soften their hearts and turn them from their ways. Let them see the destruction they are causing—not only to others but to their own souls. Your Word declares that the thief must steal no more, but rather labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need (Ephesians 4:28). May repentance and restoration be their portion.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We ask that You surround Your people with Your holy angels, as You have commanded them to guard us in all our ways (Psalm 91:11). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen us to walk in integrity, to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16), and to trust in Your provision rather than the fleeting security of this world.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7), and it is by His authority that we stand against the schemes of the devil. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
