Fornication, adultery, restoration

Please lift a special someone (hidden for privacy reasons) to the throne of God in the name of Jesus.
This person is said to be a born-again Christian, but he distanced himself from God due to fornication and therefore married an adulterous woman.
Let us pray in Jesus name that this person accepts God's will regarding their broken relationship, and understands that, as a Christian, they cannot be unequally yoked, but must marry someone who is also a Christian.

Let's pray based on these verses:
Hosea 2:19-23
[19] “I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy;
[20] I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, And you shall know the Lord.
[21] “It shall come to pass in that day That I will answer,” says the Lord; “I will answer the heavens, And they shall answer the earth.
[22] The earth shall answer With grain, With new wine, And with oil; They shall answer Jezreel.
[23] Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; Then I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people!’ And they shall say, ‘You are my God!’”

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother who has strayed from the path of righteousness through the sin of fornication and entered into an adulterous marriage. Father God, we know that Your heart breaks when Your children turn away from Your commands, for You desire holiness and purity for us. The Scriptures are clear: "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4). Yet, we also know that Your mercy is boundless, and Your grace is sufficient to restore even the most broken among us.

Lord, we pray that You would convict this brother’s heart with the truth of Your Word. Let him see the weight of his sin, not to condemn him, but to lead him to repentance. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We ask that You break the chains of deception that have kept him bound, that he may turn away from this ungodly union and seek Your will above all else.

Father, we also lift up the woman involved in this adulterous marriage. If she does not know You, we pray that Your Spirit would draw her to salvation. If she claims to be a believer, we ask that You would reveal to her the seriousness of her sin and lead her to repentance. The Bible warns us, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). This brother cannot walk in the fullness of Your blessings while bound to someone who does not share his faith or Your standards of holiness.

Lord, we stand on the promise of Hosea 2:19-23, that You long to betroth Your people to Yourself in righteousness, justice, lovingkindness, and mercy. We pray that this brother would experience the depth of Your love and be restored to a right relationship with You. Let him know that You are a God who answers, who sows mercy where there was none, and who calls those who were not Your people to be Your own.

We rebuke the spirit of deception and rebellion that has led him astray, and we declare that no weapon formed against his faith shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for unshakable faith in Jesus Christ, that he would surrender his will to Yours and trust in Your holy plan for his life. May he find the strength to walk away from this sinful relationship, no matter how difficult, and seek a godly spouse who will help him grow in Christ.

Father, we ask that You surround him with godly counsel and accountability. Let him be reminded of the power of the cross, where Jesus bore the punishment for his sins, including this one. May he find hope in the promise that "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne, the only name by which we are saved. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May this brother come to know the fullness of life that is found only in You, and may Your will be done in his life for Your glory. Amen. Let God be glorified!

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
