Beloved of All
Please lift a special someone (hidden for privacy reasons) to the throne of God in the name of Jesus.
This person is said to be a born-again Christian, but he distanced himself from God due to fornication and therefore married an adulterous woman.
Let us pray in Jesus name that this person accepts God's will regarding their broken relationship, and understands that, as a Christian, they cannot be unequally yoked, but must marry someone who is also a Christian.

Let's pray based on these verses:
Hosea 2:19-23
[19] “I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy;
[20] I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, And you shall know the Lord.
[21] “It shall come to pass in that day That I will answer,” says the Lord; “I will answer the heavens, And they shall answer the earth.
[22] The earth shall answer With grain, With new wine, And with oil; They shall answer Jezreel.
[23] Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; Then I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people!’ And they shall say, ‘You are my God!’”

Please continue to pray...Keep praying that this brother has unweavering faith in Jesus Christ and the Father's holy plan for his life...AMEN
LET GOD BE GLORIFIED!!

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother who has strayed from the path of righteousness through the sin of fornication and entered into an adulterous marriage. We know that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23). Though he is born again, his actions have grieved the Holy Spirit, and we must intercede for his repentance and restoration.

The Scriptures are clear that a believer must not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14). This brother has bound himself in marriage to someone who does not share his faith, and this union is not pleasing to God. We must pray that he heeds the Word of the Lord, which says, "Do not be deceived: 'Bad company corrupts good morals'" (1 Corinthians 15:33). The path he is on will only lead to further heartache and separation from God if he does not turn away from this sin.

We also rebuke the spirit of deception that has led him to believe that this relationship is acceptable in the eyes of the Lord. Fornication and adultery are grave sins that defile the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). The Lord hates divorce, but He also hates the unrighteousness that leads to it (Malachi 2:16). This brother must repent and seek God’s will for his life, even if it means walking away from this adulterous union.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother who has strayed from Your path. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of sin that have bound him and draw him back to You with cords of love. Father, Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that this brother humbles himself before You, repents of his sins, and turns away from this adulterous relationship.

Lord, we ask that You open his eyes to the truth of Your Word. Help him to see that he cannot serve two masters (Matthew 6:24). Give him the strength to walk away from this ungodly union and seek a wife who fears You and walks in Your ways. Father, we pray that You restore him to fellowship with You and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Let him experience the fullness of Your love, mercy, and grace, and may he once again walk in the light of Your truth.

We also pray for the woman involved in this adulterous marriage. Lord, if it be Your will, draw her to repentance and salvation. Let her see the error of her ways and turn to You with a contrite heart. If she is unwilling to repent, we ask that You remove her from this brother’s life so that he may be free to serve You wholeheartedly.

Father, we stand on the promise in Hosea 2:19-23, that You will betroth Your people to You in righteousness, justice, lovingkindness, and mercy. We pray that this brother experiences the fullness of that promise as You restore him and make him a vessel of honor in Your kingdom. Let him know that You are his God, and he is Your people.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in this brother’s life, and may You be glorified in all things. Amen.

We encourage this brother to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature Christian who can guide him in aligning his life with God’s Word. The road to restoration may be difficult, but the Lord is faithful, and He will never leave nor forsake those who seek Him (Hebrews 13:5). Let him meditate on the Scriptures and allow the Holy Spirit to convict him of sin and lead him into all truth (John 16:13). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May this brother find his strength and hope in Christ alone.

We’ve been sitting with your request and feel the weight of watching someone you care about drift from God and into a relationship that only brought more brokenness. It’s painful to see a believer entangled in choices that seem to lead further away from the Lord. We know that shame can be a powerful silencer, sometimes people who’ve fallen into sexual sin convince themselves they’re too far gone, so they stop reaching for the light. Thank you for not giving up on this brother. Your persistent prayers are a lifeline he may not even realize he has.

We’re reminded that God’s heart for His wayward children is never just about rule-keeping, it’s always about restoration. When He spoke through Hosea, He was pursuing a people who had broken covenant, and He promised to draw them back, not by scolding, but by overwhelming mercy. That same mercy is open to your friend. He doesn’t need to clean himself up before turning back; the very turn toward God is the victory we’re praying for.

We find it helps to remember that healing from these choices is often gradual. There may be setbacks, and his understanding of God’s will might come slowly. Yet we can trust that the Holy Spirit is at work even in the mess, and that the church’s role is to be a place of grace that makes returning feel possible, not impossible. As you pray, consider simply letting him know, gently, that he’s not forgotten and that God’s mercy is bigger than his worst moment.

Father, we lift up this brother to You. You see the distance he’s placed between himself and You, the choices that have tangled his life, and the brokenness of his marriage. Break through the shame and confusion with a clear sense of Your love. Draw his heart back, not just to a set of rules, but to the relationship he was made for. Give him a hunger for what is true and right, and the courage to face the truth about his situation. Surround him with people who will speak Your grace and truth gently. And strengthen this prayer partner as they faithfully intercede. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You have been watching a wall give way, stone by stone, and it has grieved your very soul. You loved that good fence, built by better days and early mercies, and now in places it lies flat, and all the tender things inside seem exposed to every trampling foot. There is a sorrow that goes with seeing someone you care about choose the broad way when you know the narrow way is life. So I will not hurry past your ache. But I want to sit with you a moment and speak of what our God does with broken walls and broken bones.

You have set your plea on those words from Hosea, and you chose well, for they are a love-letter in a black-edged envelope. “I will betroth you to Me forever,” says the Lord. Righteousness, justice, lovingkindness, mercies, faithfulness, He piles up the wedding gifts as though He were courting a bride who had squandered her last penny and her good name together. And then come those strange, wonderful words: “I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; then I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people!’ And they shall say, ‘You are my God!’” That is the voice that spoke light out of darkness, and it speaks still.

So take heart. The very thing that pains you, that this man seems far off, that his choices have led him into an unequal yoke, that he may barely know himself right now, is the raw material upon which this promise works. God does not betroth the spotless; He betroths the wanderer. He does not wait till we have rebuilt our own walls; He comes to the heap of stones and calls it the site of a temple. You are not watching a ruined man so much as a man being prepared, perhaps through many bitter lessons, to find out at last that the iron yoke he has put on his own neck can only be lifted by the pierced hands of Christ.

Do not think his distance means God has forgotten him. There is a broken bone that has to be re-set, and the re-setting is painful. David limped long after his fall, but the bones that God breaks He also binds, and when He binds them, they learn to rejoice in a deeper key. Your friend may have to discover that every path away from the Lord is a hard path, and the mercy is that the Lord will not let His own find rest in it. The wooden yoke of Jesus, so easy, so lined with love, gets refused, and men take up an iron one instead. But even the iron grows heavy enough to make a man cry out for Home.

Your part, dear heart, is to keep lifting him to the throne. Not with frantic anxiety, but with the steady confidence of one who knows that the Shepherd has His crook around the straying sheep even when the sheep does not feel it. You are not responsible for the outcome; you are only called to love and pray. God is the betrothed Husband of His people, and He knows how to win back the soul that has signed its name to a false covenant. The day will come when God answers the heavens and the heavens answer the earth and the earth brings forth grain and wine and oil, and no one will call it anything but grace.

Will you bow with me?

Lord Jesus, You who bind up the broken-hearted and set the captives free, look upon this one whose name is hidden from us but carved upon Your palms. You know every twist of his story, every secret wound, every chain he has fastened around his own ankles. We cannot untangle him, but You can. We cannot call him back, but You have ten thousand voices and a Spirit who will not be silenced. We ask not that his will be overridden like a tyrant’s command, but that his will be won, gently, inexorably, by a love that will not let him go. Show him the hollowness of all that now glitters. Let the iron yoke so bruise his shoulders that he remembers the easy yoke of the Carpenter. And for this faithful soul who prays with such aching love, grant patience and quiet hope and the sure knowledge that the everlasting arms are underneath. Betroth him to Yourself in righteousness and justice, in lovingkindness and in mercies, in faithfulness, until the day he whispers through tears, “You are my God.” Amen and amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply grateful for the privilege to stand in the gap and lift this precious brother before the throne of grace in the powerful name of Jesus. It has been on our hearts to continue praying for his restoration, knowing that the Lord is faithful to draw near to those who have strayed when we intercede according to His will.

We have prayed earnestly that this brother’s heart would be softened to receive God’s conviction and mercy, that he would turn away from the sin of fornication and adultery, and embrace the Lord’s design for holy and righteous relationships. We have asked the Holy Spirit to break any chains of deception, reminding him that he cannot be unequally yoked but must walk in alignment with God’s Word, which calls believers to marry only in the Lord.

The verses from Hosea have been a beautiful reminder of God’s unfailing love and His desire to restore what has been broken. We have declared over this brother that the Lord would betroth him to righteousness, justice, lovingkindness, and mercy, just as He promised. We have prayed that he would know the Lord intimately and walk in faithful obedience, trusting that God’s plans for him are good and perfect.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report—how the Father has worked to bring this brother back into right relationship with Him and guided him in His will for marriage. If the answer has not yet come, we stand ready to continue lifting him up in prayer, believing that God is at work even when we cannot see it. We encourage you to post this request again so we may persist in agreement with you, covering this brother in prayer until the Lord’s purposes are fully realized in his life.

May the Lord bless you for your faithfulness in bringing this matter before Him. We trust that as we seek Him together, He will be glorified, and this brother will be drawn back into the fullness of life in Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
