Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.

We join with you in prayer in the mighty name of Jesus for your former landlord, and we are encouraged by your heart that desires his salvation rather than only seeking your own vindication in this rented apartment situation.

You have asked according to Luke 9:24, For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This is the very heart of the gospel, that to cling to our own way, our own gain, and our own life apart from Christ is to lose everything, but to surrender our life to Jesus is to truly find it and keep it for eternity. We agree with you that the greatest need this man has is not merely to act justly in business, but to give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it. We also join you in praying that he will hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life, for the Lord desires all to be saved. As it is written, This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:3-4 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6

We also agree with your declaration that Jesus reigns over darkness and His light expels it, for He said, I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life. John 8:12 and The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5 We pray that any influence of darkness, deception, or unclean spirits that may be blinding this man would be broken by the power of Jesus, and that he would step into that light.

We must also address with love and truth what you have shared that he is robbing you and not taking responsibility. Scripture is clear that stealing and defrauding another is sin before God. You shall not steal. Exodus 20:15 and You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another. Leviticus 19:11 To take what belongs to another and to refuse to make it right is not a small matter, it is disobedience to God and requires repentance. The Word says, Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need. Ephesians 4:28 A true turning to Christ will show itself in taking responsibility and making restitution where possible, as Zacchaeus did when he said, If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much. Luke 19:8

So we pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this former landlord to You and ask for Your mercy upon him. Lord, soften his heart and open his eyes to see his need for a Savior. Draw him by Your Holy Spirit to lose his life for Jesus so that he may truly save it. Let him hear Your voice clearly, convict him of sin, and lead him into repentance and faith. Let Your light shine into every dark place in his heart and expel all darkness. We ask that You transform him from the inside out, that he would become a man who walks in honesty, integrity, and the fear of the Lord.

Father, we also pray for justice and responsibility in this practical matter. If he has taken what is not his or withheld what is owed, we pray You would convict him to stop robbing and to do what is right, to take responsibility and to restore what belongs to another. Give him courage to act justly and to make things right. At the same time, Father, we lift up the one who was wronged. Guard their heart from bitterness and anger, help them to trust You as their defender and provider, and to not avenge themselves but to leave room for Your justice. As it is written, Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19 Give them wisdom to pursue what is right and lawful with grace and peace, and to forgive as You have forgiven us, while still seeking what is just.

We thank You for Your love and faithfulness, that no one can withstand Your mighty power and that Your mercy triumphs over judgment for those who turn to You. We declare victory in this situation not for our own gain, but that Your greatness and power would be seen and that both parties would be drawn closer to You. We ask all this in the precious and only saving name of Jesus, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

We hear how painful this rented apartment situation has been, and we are joining you in prayer both for justice and for your former landlord's good. Wanting him to truly know Jesus and also wanting him to do what is right with what he owes you is a heavy place to hold.

It can help to separate two things that often get tangled when we have been wronged financially. One is the decision to release any desire to get back at the person and to leave the outcome with God, which we can choose even while the hurt still stings. The other is the slower healing of the emotions around it, which takes more time, and is different from whether you continue the relationship or what steps you take to seek what is owed. Loving him and praying for his salvation does not mean excusing what happened or not pursuing a fair resolution.

A practical step that often brings some peace in a situation like this is to get clarity on paper and with wise counsel. If you haven't already, keep a simple record of the lease, payments, messages, and what you believe is still owed, and share it with a trusted pastor or a local mediation or legal aid resource who can help you think through next steps calmly and safely.

Father, we bring this former landlord before You and ask that he would hear Your voice and turn his life to Jesus. Work in his heart to take responsibility and to do what is right. And for our friend praying, grant wisdom, protection, and peace as You guide what to do next. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we join you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation.

We pray that this former landlord may come to know what our Lord meant when He said, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. May the Holy Spirit convince him that to cling to his own life, his own gain and his own way, is to lose all, and that to lose his life for Christ is to save it eternally. We ask the Lord, who reigns over darkness and whose light expels all darkness, to shine into his heart, to drive out every unclean influence, and to make him a new creature in Christ.

We are reminded that the house in which we dwell in this life has God for its Landlord, and that we are only tenants. There is a clause in the lease which men too often forget, namely that the Landlord has at all times the right to enter and to deal with His own property. This man, like all of us, lives on sufferance as a tenant under the Great Landlord, and must one day give account. We pray he may hear the voice of that Landlord now, while God is yet slow to anger. The lictor of divine justice carries his axe bound up in a bundle of rods, for He will not cut off men until He has reproved them that they may repent. The Lord is slow to anger and slow to threaten, but He will not at all acquit the wicked. Justice demands that sin be punished unless a man turn to Him with full purpose of heart.

We pray therefore that this man may not rail against God's justice, for no convinced sinner ever does so. When the law is seen in its glorious holiness, the sinner smites upon his breast and says, O sinner that I am. May this landlord be brought to such conviction, to see that if God should deal with him according to strict justice he could not lift a finger to murmur, and to cry instead for mercy.

And we pray that he may be led to see where Justice has been satisfied. If Justice should come to him and say, Sinner, thou hast sinned, I will punish thee, may he be enabled to answer, Justice, thou hast punished all my sins in my substitute, Jesus. We would take him, in prayer, to Gethsemane and to the cross, to see that Man oppressed with grief, His garments bloody, His bones dislocated as His cross was lifted up, His soul in agony. There the cloud of justice charged with fiery hail fell not upon the sinner but upon the Saviour's heart. There divine justice was manifested in the very highest degree, more fully than in Eden or the flood or the depths of hell itself, which would need a whole eternity to set forth all the justice of God in the punishment of sin. At Calvary God can be just and yet the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus. We pray this landlord may know that it is now an act of justice for God to forgive the repenting sinner according to His promise, and that he may repent and believe.

We also join you in praying that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life, and that he may take responsibility for what is right. If he has taken what is not his, we pray God will work in his conscience to stop robbing you and to make restitution as the fruit of true repentance. We do not ask God to bless wrongdoing, but to bring forth justice and righteousness, that he may deal honestly and walk in the light.

For you who have been wronged, we pray you may offer the key of your own house to the Great Landlord and acknowledge that you live as His tenant, and that your rent may be what David offered, I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth. To live in the perpetual exercise of praise to God is at once the Christian's duty and delight, even in trial. May the Lord keep you from bitterness, give you wisdom in all lawful means to seek what is due, and above all give you a love for the soul of this man, desiring not his harm but his salvation.

We ask for mercy and grace for you both, trusting in the love and faithfulness of our Lord Jesus Christ, whose power no one can withstand. May His healing power guide and His greatness be seen, and may this whole matter be turned to His glory.

We have heard your prayer and we join with you in bringing this matter before the Lord Jesus Christ, to whom all authority belongs.

You have asked rightly according to Luke 9:24, for whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Jesus will save it. This is the true exchange that every person must make. We pray that your former landlord will hear this word and turn to Christ alone for salvation, that he will surrender his life to the Lord, confess his sin, and receive the mercy that is found only in Jesus. There is no other name by which we are saved, and we pray that he will hear God's voice and follow His holy plan rather than his own way.

You also ask that he will take responsibility and stop robbing you. This is a just request. Scripture teaches that robbery is not only breaking into a house and taking what is inside. Injustice is judged not by the measure of what is taken but by the intention of the heart. When a person uses deceit, withholds what is due, corrupts what is just, or takes anything from his neighbor through extortion or dishonest dealing, that too is theft and covetousness before God. To subvert another person's house or to spoil what belongs to another is a serious matter, and God who has established courts of justice among men will Himself require an account. He sees what is done in secret and His righteousness is sure.

Therefore we pray both for mercy and for justice, for God mingles the two. We ask that the Lord will convict this man of his wrong, grant him repentance, and move him to do what is right and to restore what has been taken unjustly. We pray that the light of Christ will expel all darkness and that every unclean influence will be driven away, and that the Lord's healing power will guide him into a new life of honesty and faithfulness.

Let us pray together. Lord Jesus, You reign over all darkness and Your light overcomes it. We ask for Your mercy and grace upon this man. Open his ears to hear Your voice, open his heart to receive You as Lord and Savior, and cause him to lose his life for Your sake that he may truly save it. Grant him a spirit of repentance that he may take responsibility for what he has done, cease from all dishonest gain, and walk in truth. We join you in bringing your former landlord before the Lord, and we agree with the burden of your prayer from Luke 9:24. Jesus taught that whoever tries to hold onto his life on his own terms will lose it, but whoever surrenders his life for the sake of Jesus will save it. Our prayer is that this man will hear that word and choose to lose his life for Christ in order to truly find it.

Scripture is clear that salvation comes only through Jesus. There is salvation in no one else, for God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. This salvation comes by the grace of God, which has appeared and is offered freely. It is open to whosoever will come, even the lowest sinner, and whoever comes to Him He will not turn away. His salvation is near to all who will call upon Him. It is as close as your mouth and your heart, for if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

That is why the Bible urges us not to delay. Now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. To put off God's offer is dangerous, because to neglect so great a salvation leaves no escape. God does not automatically save everyone in the end. Each person must personally repent and trust Christ while there is opportunity. So we pray that today this landlord will hear the voice of the Lord concerning His holy plan for his life and respond without delay.

We also pray that God will work in his conscience regarding what you have suffered. We ask the Lord to convict him to take responsibility for what is right and to turn away from any dishonest gain. The Lord sees financial wrongs and calls His people to walk in honesty and to make things right where they have done wrong. We pray that he will stop taking what is not his and choose a path of integrity before God.

We pray for you as well, that you will know the reign of Jesus over every darkness, that His light will expel all darkness, and that you will experience His mercy, grace, love and faithfulness. May the Lord guard your heart, provide for your needs in this rented apartment situation, and let His greatness and power be seen as you trust Him.
