Lord I pray ### forgive me and talk to me again I said something’s when I was mad and now ### is not talking to me. Praying I hear from ### today, praying ### miss me and thinking about me

We hear your heart’s cry for reconciliation and restoration, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s mercy and grace in this situation. The pain of broken communication, especially with someone dear to you, is heavy to bear. We want to first remind you that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). His love for you is unwavering, even in moments of conflict or regret.

Your request speaks of words spoken in anger, and we know how deeply words can wound. Scripture warns us, "The tongue has the power of life and death" (Proverbs 18:21), and in moments of anger, it is easy to speak carelessly. Yet, the Lord calls us to guard our hearts and our words, for "out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks" (Matthew 12:34). If the words you spoke were harsh, unkind, or dishonoring, it is right to seek forgiveness, not only from the one you hurt but also from the Lord, who calls us to love one another as He has loved us (John 13:34).

We must also gently address the nature of this relationship. If this is a courtship or a marriage, we want to encourage you to honor God’s design for communication and reconciliation. Ephesians 4:26-27 tells us, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." Conflict is inevitable, but how we handle it matters. If this is a godly relationship, we pray that both of you would seek to restore peace with humility and grace, remembering that "love covers a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8).

If, however, this relationship does not align with biblical principles, such as a relationship outside of marriage, an ungodly union, or one that does not honor the Lord, we must rebuke that in Jesus’ name. The Bible is clear that we are to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and that marriage is the only God-ordained context for intimacy between a man and a woman (Hebrews 13:4). If this is the case, we urge you to repent and seek the Lord’s guidance in aligning your life with His will.

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear one who is seeking forgiveness and restoration. Lord, You are the God of second chances, and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We ask that You would soften the heart of ### and open the door for reconciliation. Lord, if there has been sin in this relationship, whether through harsh words, anger, or ungodly actions, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Wash over this situation with Your grace, and help both parties to extend forgiveness and seek peace.

Father, we pray that You would guard this relationship and align it with Your will. If this is a godly courtship or marriage, we ask that You would restore communication, heal wounds, and strengthen the bond between them. If this relationship does not honor You, we ask that You would reveal the truth and give wisdom to walk away in obedience to You.

Lord, we also pray for ###’s heart. May they miss the fellowship they once shared and be moved to seek restoration. Give them the courage to humble themselves, ask for forgiveness, and extend grace. Help them to remember that "a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1).

Above all, we pray that this situation would draw both individuals closer to You. May they seek Your face, Your wisdom, and Your will in all things. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or reconciled to You (Acts 4:12). Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your love. Amen.

In this time of waiting, we encourage you to reflect on James 1:19-20: "Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God." Seek the Lord’s wisdom in how to approach this situation with humility and love. If ### is open to communication, extend a sincere apology and ask for their forgiveness. If they are not, continue to pray and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it.

Remember, the Lord is your peace (Ephesians 2:14), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your heart open to His leading, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We hear how painful this waiting is for you. Wanting to be forgiven after words spoken in anger, and longing to hear from this person today, is a heavy place to be.

It makes sense you are thinking about what you said and wishing you could take it back. Caring about the relationship is a good thing, and wanting to make it right shows humility. At the same time, forgiveness and talking again are not the same thing. You can sincerely ask for forgiveness, but whether and when someone is ready to talk again is up to them too, and that timing can be hard to wait through.

If you have not already, one steady next step can be to offer a single, sincere apology in your own words that simply owns what you said without excuses, says you are sorry for the hurt, and leaves space for them to respond when they are ready. Sending repeated messages asking if they miss you can add pressure, so giving them room after that one clear message often helps more than checking again today.

We are praying with you as you wait and trust God with what happens next.

Father, in Jesus name we lift this friend to You and the person they have hurt. Please bring comfort in this silence, soften hearts where needed, and give wisdom for what to say and when to be still. Help our friend rest in Your forgiveness and grace while You work in both lives according to Your will. Amen.

Your longing to be forgiven is itself a tender mercy, for it shows that your conscience is not hardened, and that you feel the weight of words spoken in anger. There is a greater forgiveness than that which you seek from another, and it is found only with God, through Jesus Christ His Son.

Scripture declares, There is forgiveness with Thee, that Thou mayest be feared. It is a divine forgiveness, I even I am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. You have offended a holy God more deeply than you have offended any fellow creature, and yet He sends this message to you, There is forgiveness. Whatever your past has been, however hasty and sinful your speech when anger ruled you, there is forgiveness with God even for you, not because you deserve it, but because Christ the Just died for the unjust to bring us to God. He not only forgave at the first all our sins, but He continues daily to forgive, and His forgiveness is complete and eternal. As a creditor might say to a debtor who has nothing to pay, I forgive thee all, so the Lord speaks to the penitent who comes through Christ. As a father receives a wayward son who comes home in penitence and says, I will forgive thee, so your heavenly Father will receive you when you come with a broken and contrite heart.

Seek that forgiveness first. Come honestly before the Lord, confess not only your angry words to another, but your sin against Him, for all sin is first against God. Do not tremble as if the question were still open, forgiveness or no forgiveness. Believe that there is forgiveness now, at this moment, through the blood of Christ, and seek it with all your heart.

Then, concerning the one who is not speaking to you, take the low and honest path. Words spoken when mad still wound, and the Lord will not allow us to be at ease in sin without feeling its smart. David found that broken bones must be healed, and though God can make the bones which He has broken to rejoice, the healing is His work and often takes time. Do not demand that the other person miss you or speak to you today as a sign that you are forgiven. True repentance does not seek to control another, but to own the wrong fully and to leave the outcome in God's hands.

If you have spoken harshly, go humbly and plainly, without excuse, and ask forgiveness for what you said. Let your confession be clear and without laying blame on the other. Give space for the other to process, and respect their silence even as you hope for reconciliation. Be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath, and let your future speech be seasoned with grace.

We will pray for you, not that God would simply grant your wish for immediate contact, but that He would do what is best and holiest for both souls. We pray that you would know the full and free pardon that is in Christ, that your heart would be softened and purified, and that if reconciliation is according to His will, it would be worked in a way that honors Him, in purity, honesty and self control. If this concerns a relationship, pray that the Lord would make it to conform to His design, which is that love between a man and a woman be guarded within the lifelong covenant of marriage, and that all affection and speech outside of that be kept holy and above reproach. Seek first to be right with God, and to walk in His ways, and trust Him with the heart of the other.

May the Lord grant you a deep sense of His own forgiving love, and out of that fullness teach you to seek forgiveness from others with meekness, patience and truth, leaving the timing and the answer in His wise hands.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your desire to seek forgiveness and to make things right is itself a work of grace, and I join you in bringing this before the Lord.

Scripture is honest about how damaging words spoken in anger can be. Anger itself is not given to us so that we may wound one another, but so that we might turn firmly against sin and be stirred to do what is right. When we are angry we are called to be slow to speak, to bridle the tongue, and to not let anger lead us into sin. When we have spoken hastily and hurt another person, the right response is humble repentance before God and toward that person.

First, bring your sorrow to God through Jesus Christ alone, for it is only through His cross and resurrection that we have forgiveness of sins. Confess to Him plainly what you said, ask for His mercy, and ask Him to cleanse your heart and to teach you to speak with grace and self control going forward.

Second, Scripture teaches that when there is a breach between us and another, we should not simply wait for the other person to come to us, but we should take the initiative to go in humility and seek peace. If you have wronged this person, pray for courage to approach them privately and gently, to take responsibility without excuse, to ask for forgiveness, and to listen. Reconciliation cannot be forced, and it may not happen on our preferred timeline, so go with meekness rather than with demands.

I will pray with you:

Heavenly Father, I thank You that through Jesus Christ alone we have forgiveness and access to Your mercy. Forgive this dear one for words spoken in anger, cleanse their heart, and grant true repentance. Teach them to be slow to anger and quick to listen, and to use their words to build up and not to tear down. Lord, bring healing where there has been hurt. If it is Your will, open a door for honest and humble conversation and for reconciliation that honors You. Give peace and patience while waiting, and help both people to seek Your will above all else. Guide this relationship into whatever form is holy and pleasing to You, and help both to walk in purity, truth, and love according to Your design. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Trust the Lord with the outcome and with the timing. Whether this person is a friend, a family member, or someone you care for romantically, commit the relationship to God and ask Him to shape it according to His Word. If it is a romantic relationship, pray that it would be formed in a way that honors His good design for marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, with respect and purity. Continue to pray, to show consistent kindness, and to demonstrate by your actions that your repentance is sincere. God sees your heart, and He is faithful to work for good as you seek Him.
