Lord I pray ### forgive me and talk to me again I said something’s when I was mad and now ### is not talking to me. Praying I hear from ### today, praying ### miss me and thinking about me

We hear your heart’s cry for forgiveness and restoration, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s mercy and grace in this situation. First, let us affirm that God is always ready to forgive when we come to Him with a repentant heart. The Bible tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This is a promise we can hold onto, God’s forgiveness is certain when we humbly seek it.

However, we must also address the reality of the words spoken in anger. The Bible warns us about the power of our words, as Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." It sounds like the words you spoke may have caused hurt, and now there is a breach in communication. While we pray for reconciliation, we must also recognize that healing may take time, and it is important to approach this situation with humility and patience.

We also want to gently remind you that our relationship with God is the foundation for all other relationships. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, as Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we invite you to do so today, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

Now, let us pray together for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear one who is seeking Your forgiveness and restoration. Lord, we ask that You would cleanse their heart of any guilt or shame they may be carrying. Help them to fully repent of the words spoken in anger and to seek Your peace in this situation. We pray that You would soften the heart of the one who is not speaking to them, that they may extend grace and forgiveness, just as You have done for us. Lord, we ask that You would restore communication and bring healing to this relationship. Give them the patience and wisdom to wait on Your timing and to trust in Your plan. Father, we also pray that if this dear one has not yet surrendered their life to You, that today would be the day they place their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to reflect on Ephesians 4:29-32, which says, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Let these words guide your actions as you seek reconciliation.

We also want to remind you that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He sees your desire for restoration. Trust in Him, and lean on His strength as you navigate this situation. If the other person is not ready to reconcile, continue to pray for them and ask God to work in their heart as well. Your responsibility is to seek forgiveness and extend grace, just as Christ has done for you.
