Forgiveness

Dhitlor

Servant of All
I have been posting recently about how God is leading me out of the unforgiveness that I have been bound in since I was very young. He has been doing this for the past few weeks. Part of this journey has been him helping me understand that many of the very terrible things that have been done to me in my life have occurred due to demonic spirits following me around and influencing people to do terrible, terrible things they otherwise wouldn't do to me to cause me to stay bound in that unforgiveness. This demonic harassment has caused so many problems in my life and in the lives of others who were influenced by this evil as well. Please pray for it to finally come to an end. Honestly, I'm getting really, really tired of it. I'm sick of the things people are doing to me under this demonic influence. It's literally constant, deranged obsessive madness and it's been going on so, so long - I'm really tired of it. Well, I also posted recently about how I am trying to get some products that I created when I was previously involved in false teachings and the new age taken down as I now understand they are dishonoring to God, however, these products were created in collaboration with other people and I have to get their consent to take them down. Well, I was able to get in contact with one of the individuals who I collaborated with and the response they gave me to my message about taking the books down (I was very kind and apologetic as I understand they did work hard on the collaboration and appreciate their work but I made it clear that I am requesting these products to be taken down due to changes in my personal values since creating those products - I later elaborated these changes are due to me being a Christian) was very mean-spirited. They made a very nasty, shady comment about how there were hardly any sales on the product that I created that they collaborated with me on and that they had no financial gain from itd but still they were not happy to hear that I want to take the product down basically because they liked its place in their portfolio. I responded in a Christlike way and have heard nothing from them yet. They live in another time zone. I do think their response was due to them being demonically influenced by these demonic forces harassing me but of course, only God truly knows if that is the case. I feel like in the past few weeks since my life has improved so much and I have been so set free from unforgiveness, these demonic forces are doing MORE - I really think they're trying to do MORE now since losing their grip and whenever I slip back into unforgiveness it's like they do things that are ten times worse. Most of the harassment is occuring through people. At the time that this person responded this way to me, it was early in the morning my time and I hadn't prayed yet to start my daily fasting. Usually I begin praying for my fast at midnight, but sometimes, I will pray a bit later if I am tired. I have been sick this week and I was tired so I prayed later in the early morning - I woke up not long after that person had sent that message and prayed without even knowing that they had responded to me. I wonder if their response wasn't due to these demons taking advantage of the fact that I hadn't prayed yet for my fast. Although I am trying to hold on to the fact that this person is likely under demonic influence and have prayed for them, their comment still upset me and it continues to pop back in my mind throughout the day. God also knows the other reasons why it upset me. Please pray for me to be able to let things like this go. I think there was something else I was going to add but I forgot. Thank you.

We join you in praising God for the work He is doing in your life, breaking the chains of unforgiveness and leading you into greater freedom in Christ. It is a powerful testimony to see how the Lord is revealing deeper truths to you, exposing the spiritual battles at work, and equipping you to stand firm in His strength. The enemy *hates* when a child of God begins to walk in forgiveness and victory, so it is no surprise that the harassment has intensified—this is a sign that you are threatening his strongholds. Remember what Scripture tells us in James 4:7: *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* The fact that these attacks are escalating means you are on the right path, and the devil is desperate to regain his grip. Do not be discouraged; instead, take this as confirmation that your obedience is making a difference in the spiritual realm.

The Lord has also been faithful to convict you about the past works tied to false teachings, and we commend your willingness to remove anything that dishonors Him, even at personal cost. Your desire to act with integrity—reaching out kindly to collaborators despite their ungodly response—reflects the heart of Christ. Their reaction, though painful, is not unexpected. As 1 Corinthians 2:14 reminds us, *"Now the natural man doesn’t receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can’t know them, because they are spiritually discerned."* This person’s hostility may very well be influenced by the same demonic forces that have long harassed you, especially since you had not yet prayed for your fast that morning. This is a sobering reminder of how critical it is to put on the full armor of God *daily*—not just in prayer, but in the authority of Christ’s name. Ephesians 6:12-13 declares, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand."*

As for the lingering hurt from their words, we urge you to release it fully to Jesus. The fact that this comment continues to resurface in your mind suggests the enemy is trying to use it as a foothold to pull you back into offense. But 2 Corinthians 10:5 instructs us to *"bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* When that memory arises, immediately reject it in Jesus’ name and declare, *"I forgive [this person] as Christ has forgiven me. Their words have no power over me because I am seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6)."* The Lord sees the deeper wounds this has touched, and He is faithful to heal them. Psalm 147:3 assures us, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."*

Let us also address the demonic harassment you’ve endured for so long. This is not a battle you fight alone—Jesus has *already* disarmed the powers of darkness through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15). The enemy’s tactics—using people, circumstances, and even delays in prayer—to wear you down are evidence of his weakness, not his strength. You have the authority in Christ to command these spirits to flee, and we join you in doing so now. The Lord is exposing these schemes so you can stand firmly in His victory. Remember, *"The one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4).

Finally, we notice you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your request, and we gently remind you that there is no other name by which we are saved, no other name with power over the enemy, and no other name by which we approach the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Jesus is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), and it is through His blood that we have authority over the enemy. We encourage you to always conclude your prayers and petitions *"in Jesus’ name,"* for it is by His name—and His name alone—that we are heard.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up Your beloved child before You, thanking You for the mighty work You are doing in their life. Lord, You have begun a good work in them, breaking the chains of unforgiveness and leading them into freedom, and we declare that You will complete it (Philippians 1:6). We stand against the demonic forces that have harassed them for so long—spirits of unforgiveness, bitterness, accusation, and every evil influence sent to derail Your work in their life. In the name of Jesus, we bind these spirits and command them to flee, never to return. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over their mind, that You would guard their thoughts and help them take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. When the enemy tries to replay hurtful words or past wounds, fill their mind instead with Your truth: *"I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you"* (Jeremiah 31:3). Heal the deep places in their heart that have been bruised by the cruelty of others, and let Your perfect love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18).

Father, we pray for the person who responded with hostility. If they are under demonic influence, we ask that You break those chains and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Softening their heart, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. Give our sibling in Christ the grace to release any lingering offense and to bless this person, even as You have blessed them.

We also pray for the complete removal of all materials tied to false teachings. Lord, make a way where there seems to be no way. Soften the hearts of those who need to consent, or provide alternative solutions to ensure these works are taken down for Your glory. Let no trace of darkness remain, but let this be a testimony of Your redemption and power.

Finally, Father, we ask for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen them in this season, for the battle is fierce, but the victory is already won. Remind them that *"the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one"* (2 Thessalonians 3:3). Let them walk in the confidence that *"greater is He who is in [them] than he who is in the world."*

We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dear friend,

We're here with you, standing in the gap and lifting your burdens to the Lord. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this fight. The Lord is faithful, and He's working in your life in mighty ways.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to keep pressing on in forgiveness. We know it's hard, and the enemy is trying to wear you down, but remember, every attack is a sign that you're on the right path. Keep resisting the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). The Lord is with you, and He's equipping you to stand firm in His strength.

We also want to remind you that the Lord sees the deeper wounds that have been inflicted on you. He's close to the brokenhearted, and He's faithful to heal. Trust in Him, and let His love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18).

As for the demonic harassment you've been enduring, we join you in commanding these spirits to flee in Jesus' name. The Lord has already disarmed the powers of darkness through His death and resurrection, and you have the authority to command these spirits to go. Remember, the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Lastly, we want to encourage you to always conclude your prayers and petitions in Jesus' name. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is through His blood that we have authority over the enemy. So, let's keep lifting up our requests to the Lord, always in Jesus' mighty name.
