🙇🏻 Forgiveness Verbally Pronounced, Jn 8:10, Lk 23:17, Do Not Sin Again Lest Something Worse Befalls You, John 5:14, Go and Sin No More, Jn 8:11, True Repentance, Lk 24:47, Eyes Opened by💡of God's 📖 2 Cor 4:4-6 Quits self over god Gen 3:1-15, New 💝 Ezek 36:26 Jn 3:3-7... 🙏 Father, first and foremost, we thank You -- You were in Christ, reconciling the world to Yourself, not counting our sins against us, 2 Cor 5:19.

🧎🏽‍♂️Father, I totally forgive my wife for everything, so that she may by the kindness of God be lead to repentance, Rom 2:4, Matt 16:19, John 20:23, and that I may demonstrate my sins have forgiven been forgiven me, as I forgive others, specifically the one who has hurt me most, Matt 6:15, Mk 11:26, Eph 4:32, Col 3:13, even as Jesus asked that You forgive those who crucified Him, "Father, forgive them, they don't know what they're doing," Luke 23:17, and Stephen in Acts imitated this while being stoned to death, "Lord, do not count this sin against them," Acts 7:59-60, yet we know each person must live according to the holiness without which no one will see The Lord, Hebrews 12:4, since all humans are speeding toward one of two ends: The Harlot of Babylon (who is to be destroyed), Ps 137:8, Isa 21:9, Rev 18:2, Rev 18:10, Rev 18:6, Rev 18:21, OR 👰🏽‍♀️The Holy Bride of Christ, Isa 25:6, Ps 45:10, Hosea 2:19-20, Matt 22:2, John 3:29, 2 Cor 11:2, Eph 5:25-27, Eph 5:32-33, Rev 19:7-9, Rev 21:1-3, Rev 22:17...

Of course we pray for honesty, Zech 8:16-17, Col 3:9, Eph 4:25, and that she does not continue in sin, so that nothing worse may befall her, Jn 5:15, since sins of these natures are extremely deceptive and exclude from the eternal kingdom, 1 Cor 6:9-10, Rev 22:15-16, and God cannot be mocked, Gal 6:7, since the deeds of the flesh are evident, Gal 5:19-21, but rather she'd REPENT, turn back to God so she can be saved, Luke 24:46-47, Experiences Refreshing, Acts 3:19, Renewal by Your washing of regeneration by Your mercy, since the kindness of God has appeared, so we might be justified by faith, in Jesus Christ, be made heirs with Him, share the hope of eternal life, and we devote ourselves to good deeds, Tit 3:3-8, but rather bear the lawful fruit of The Holy Spirit consistently, Gal 5:22-23, Matt 3:8, Rom 7:4...

We ask her mind would be set free by by the Light of God's Word, so Light would shine in her heart so she may receive the Light of The Knowledge of The Glory of God in the Face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:4-6, sees the beauty and benefit of God's ways, quits any bitterness or unbelief in serving self over God Gen 3:1-15, receives a new heart, Ezek 36:26, by experiencing the New Birth Jesus said is a necessity to enter or even see the kingdom of God, Jn 3:3-7...

🧎🏽‍♂️Father, You will that none would perish but all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9. Grant her wisdom and revelation to actually know You, Eph 1:17. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of The Holy one is understanding, Prov 9:10. Surely You take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather they turn from their evil ways and live, Ezek 33:11... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

We ask for grace and discipline to add fasting, Mk 4:29, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Early Church Father in The Public Domain, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member learn to fear God all the day long, Prov 23:17, LET NO ONE DECEIVE HER, Matt 24:4, be saved by trusting Jesus work on the cross, 2 Cor 5:21, evidenced by repentance for remission of sins, Luke 24:46-47, and witness to truth, 1 Tim 4:16. Hosea's "deal with Gomer" was based on repentance and faithfulness, see Hos 3:1-5. Jesus, after pronouncing that forgiving the sins of other has authority, John 8:10-11, John 20:23, said, "Go and sin no more," John 8:11.

I've reached out, am still reaching out, have prayed and fasted, am still praying and asking for wisdom and grace now discipline to fast -- let her not be to me as most of Jerusalem was unwilling to gather under the Shelter of Wings of God Almighty, Ps 17:8, Ps 57:1, 91:1, or come to Jesus, over which He publicly wept, they having stoned those sent to rescue them, Matt 23:37... I am praying for the love of Christ to compel me, 2 Cor 5:14-15, and ASKING for mercy, kindness for repentance and salvation, 2 Peter 3:9, 1 Tim 2:1-7. Maybe she was saved or probably just a church goer, but, regardless, "If any of you wanders from the truth and someone turns her back it's considered turning a sinner from the errors of their ways, and counted as a soul saved from death, and covers a multitude of sins, James 5:19-20? I ask for that THAT -- may THAT yield a remarkable testimony of God's saving grace, 1 Tim 1:15-16, and exemplify a living testimony of Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33. We have all heard or seen such testimonies, and they do prove an intrinsic beauty of God's renewing of the mind and perfect will, Rom 12:2-3, so that the words of Augustine are proved true, "To err is human, to forgive is divine." So I cry out for wisdom, Prov 2:1-5, ask to be filled with the knowledge of God's will so I may walk worthily, Col 1:9-10, James 1:5, and for love to abound in knowledge and discernment to choose the highest, Phil 1:9-11, yet asking for it loosely as CHRIST in the Garden of Gethsemane, Matt 26:39, Mk 14:36 -- NEVERTHELESS, let YOUR WILL BE DONE, not mine, Luke 22:42, Heb 5:7.

Soften her heart and protect her (also the youth, and all of us that actually ask God to save her so the little ones do not stumble, Mt 18:16, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2), keep her from temptation and evil, Matt 6:13. Let LIGHT SHINE that penetrates darkness, Jn 1:5, 1 Jn 1:5, 2 Cor 4:4, 2 Cor 4:6, to open their eyes, turning this one from the power of darkness to light, and power of satan to God, that they may partake of the inheritance along with all who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ, Acts 26:18, 1 Cor 1:30. Help her, them (and all of us) use our "Bible Apps" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life, Jn 1:12, James 1:22-23. Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most near and dear and beyond and blinded -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in The Name of Jesus, The One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
"But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, "Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless one is born again," Jn 3:3, "Do not be amazed that I said, 'You must be born again,'" John 3:7.

We join with you in this cry before the Father and we thank Him with you that He was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting our trespasses against us as it is written in 2 Cor 5:19. We stand with you in your obedience to forgive your wife verbally and fully from the heart, and we honor the holy desire you have to reflect the forgiveness you have received in Christ.

Your forgiveness is biblical and beautiful and it is the foundation for what you are asking God to do next. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses, Matt 6:14-15. As you have quoted, we are to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave us, Eph 4:32, and bearing with one another and forgiving each other, even as Christ forgave us, so also should we, Col 3:13. You have done what Stephen did and what our Lord did on the cross when He said Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing, Luke 23:34, and Stephen prayed Lord, do not hold this sin against them, Acts 7:60. This is divine love and we praise God for working it in you.

We also affirm with you that forgiveness does not mean that sin is excused or that repentance is unnecessary. Jesus looked at the woman caught in sin and after showing mercy said Go your way. From now on, sin no more, John 8:11, and to the man He had healed He said Behold, you are made well. Sin no more, so that nothing worse happens to you, John 5:14. True forgiveness always calls the one forgiven to repentance, for Godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, 2 Cor 7:10, and we are commanded that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all the nations, Luke 24:47. Without holiness no one will see the Lord, Heb 12:14, and we know that those who practice the deeds of the flesh, which are clearly seen, which are adultery, sexual immorality, impurity and such like, will not inherit the kingdom of God, Gal 5:19-21, and we are warned do not be deceived, neither the sexually immoral, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards will inherit the kingdom of God, 1 Cor 6:9-10. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap, Gal 6:7. Therefore we agree with you that honesty must be restored, for you shall speak truth each one with his neighbor, Zech 8:16, and putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, Eph 4:25, and do not lie to one another, Col 3:9.

We share your heart for your marriage. We believe as Scripture teaches that marriage is holy, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and what God has joined together, let no man separate, Mark 10:9, and marriage is to be held in honor among all and the bed undefiled, Heb 13:4. Husbands are to love their wives even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave Himself up for it, Eph 5:25. This is why your willingness to forgive as Hosea forgave Gomer and to seek restoration through repentance and faithfulness as in Hos 3:1-5 is Christlike. God can give a new heart and put a new spirit within, removing the heart of stone and giving a heart of flesh, Ezek 36:26, and cause His law to be written on the heart, Jer 31:33. No one can see or enter the kingdom of God unless he is born anew, John 3:3, John 3:7, and that new birth comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, for there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Tim 2:5, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12.

We also hear your longing that your wife and your whole household would have their eyes opened and be turned from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Christ, Acts 26:18, for the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ should not dawn on them, 2 Cor 4:4, but God who said Light will shine out of darkness has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6. We agree that she must quit serving self over God as began in Gen 3:1-15 and receive that new heart.

So we pray together with you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son we thank You for this husband who has chosen obedience in forgiving his wife as You forgave him. We ask You to honor that forgiveness and use it as Your kindness to lead her to repentance, Rom 2:4. Let her hear Your forgiveness pronounced and let it break her heart with godly sorrow. Grant her the gift of repentance that she may turn from all sin, speak truth, forsake all sexual immorality and every deed of the flesh, and go and sin no more. Do not let sin deceive her any longer and do not let anything worse befall her, but bring her to true repentance for the remission of sins and to refreshing from Your presence, Acts 3:19.

Lord, shine Your light into her heart and into the hearts of the youth and all in this family, that the darkness would be penetrated, John 1:5, and that they would be kept from temptation and delivered from the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15. Soften her heart, remove the heart of stone, give her a heart of flesh, cause her to be born again by Your Spirit, and let her mind be renewed so that she may prove what is Your good and acceptable and perfect will, Rom 12:2. Fill her with wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, Eph 1:17, and let the fear of You be the beginning of wisdom in her, Prov 9:10. Let no one deceive her, Matt 24:4, but let her be saved by faith in the cross where Christ was made to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him, 2 Cor 5:21.

Father, You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4, and You are not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and You take no pleasure in the death of the wicked but that the wicked turn from his way and live, Ezek 33:11. We ask for that turning. If she has wandered from the truth, use this brother to turn a sinner from the error of his way to save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins, James 5:19-20, and make this a testimony of Your saving grace as with Paul who obtained mercy that Christ might display all patience, 1 Tim 1:16, and a living picture of Christ and the church, Eph 5:32.

Grant to this husband continued grace, wisdom, love that abounds in knowledge and discernment to approve the things that are excellent, Phil 1:9-10, and that he may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding to walk worthily, Col 1:9-10. Give him grace and discipline to fast and pray, and let fasting and giving lend wings to his prayers, and let the love of Christ compel him, 2 Cor 5:14. Keep him under the shelter of Your wings, Ps 17:8, Ps 91:1, and guard him from bitterness. Help him to continue to be a living epistle known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2, and to let his Bible be not just an app but the living Word becoming flesh in his life as he is a doer of the Word and not a hearer only, James 1:22. Sanctify them both by Your truth, Your word is truth, John 17:17, for all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 2 Tim 3:16.

We ask all of this nevertheless not as we will but as You will, as Jesus prayed in Gethsemane, Father, not My will but Yours be done, Luke 22:42, Matt 26:39. We trust Your perfect will and Your mercy. Keep the little ones from stumbling, Matt 18:6, Mark 9:42, and let Your will be done in this marriage for Your glory. We pray this in the one name by which we have access to You, Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We have been sitting with your prayer and the weight behind it. Thank you for letting us hear your heart for your wife and for your family. To choose forgiveness after deep hurt is costly, and we hear how much you want to reflect the mercy you have received and to see her drawn toward repentance and new life.

What you describe, speaking forgiveness out loud and releasing the debt, is a settled decision of the will. The quieter work of the heart, where resentment and sorrow loosen and peace returns, often moves much more slowly and can come in waves. If those feelings still surface at times, it does not undo the decision you made. It simply means healing is still unfolding, and God is patient with that process while you keep walking faithfully.

We are encouraged that you are seeking wisdom and not carrying this alone through prayer and fasting. In a season like this it can be a steady help to have one trusted pastor or mature believer who knows your story well, who can pray with you regularly and help you discern next steps with clarity and care as you continue to love your family.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy to us in Christ. We lift this brother to You and ask for strength, wisdom and steadiness for him in the days ahead. We lift his wife and their family to You as well, asking for Your protection over them, for softened hearts and open eyes to Your kindness, and for Your will to be done in each life. Keep them and guide them day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has come before the Lord with many tears and much searching of the Scriptures, and it is right that it should be so. To forgive as Christ forgave, to pronounce forgiveness even toward one who has wounded you most deeply, is a mark of grace received. Our Lord on the cross prayed, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do, and Stephen followed Him in the same spirit. When you forgive your wife freely, you show that you have tasted that forgiving grace yourself, for we forgive even as we have been forgiven.

Yet with forgiveness there must be that true repentance which gives God glory. There is a carnal repentance which is of the flesh, a sorrow for consequences or a fear of judgment, which does not glorify God and does not save. The repentance which is unto life is the work of the Holy Spirit in the renewed heart. It makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ and His finished work. It leads a soul to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only. Do not be mistaken as to what this repentance is. It is not a full and perfect view of all the guilt of sin at the first, nor is it a preparation for grace which you must work up in yourself. Repentance is not a preparation for grace, it is the first result of grace working within the soul. It is a blessed gift of God, and where He gives it, the work of salvation has already begun.

And this repentance is inseparable from faith. We must not undervalue repentance, for it is absolutely necessary unto salvation, yet we must never trust in our repentance itself. If you trust for salvation to your repentance, or even to your faith, you might as well trust to your sins. Nothing is to be trusted but the finished work of Jesus Christ upon Calvary's bloody tree. There are degrees of faith and degrees of repentance, and the least faith saves and the least repentance will save the soul if it is sincere, but it must be sincere and it must lay hold on Christ. To believe on Him is to trust Him wholly, to leave the whole matter of present and eternal salvation in His hands with unquestioning confidence.

You have prayed rightly that your wife may not continue in sin, lest something worse befall her, and that she may hear the word, Go and sin no more. The deeds of the flesh are evident and they deceive the soul and exclude from the kingdom, and God cannot be mocked. The Scriptures are clear that without holiness no one will see the Lord, and that the way of salvation preached in the name of Jesus is repentance and remission of sins. Where there is no true repentance, there can be no remission, but where there is that godly sorrow which needs not to be repented of, there is full and free forgiveness through His blood. How glorious is that forgiveness. He is greater at forgiving than we ever dreamed. Wonderful is God when He takes to pardoning through the bleeding Sacrifice, and pardon is given as quick as a lightning flash. The sin is there, the sin is gone, the lost soul is saved while the word is spoken, and God is glorified.

Therefore pray not only for sorrow but for the new heart and the new birth of which the Lord Jesus said, You must be born again. The god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ should shine unto them. Only the Light that shines in the heart can give the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. You have asked well for Ezekiel's promise, a new heart and a new spirit, a heart of stone taken away and a heart of flesh given, and for Jeremiah's covenant, I will put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. This is what is needed, not mere reformation but regeneration, not only turning from sin but turning to God with a renewed mind that proves His good and perfect will.

For your own soul, remember that repentance lives as long as faith. It is not a bitter operation to be gotten through at the beginning and then forgotten. Sweet sister Repentance is charming company and should walk with us to the gates of pearl. If you have sinned in bitterness or unbelief, you may pray with David, Restore unto me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with Your free Spirit. God says of His own though they have transgressed, They shall be as though I had not cast them aside. His salvation is complete and His covenant is everlasting. He can make a covenant with such a wretch as feels his wretchedness, and that very thought will break the heart.

Continue then in prayer and in fasting as the Lord gives you strength, not as a price to purchase salvation, for salvation is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone, but as wings to prayer, as dependence upon Him who hears. Guard against deception, let no one deceive her or you, and let the Word of truth dwell richly in your home. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, a living picture of Christ and His Church, and Hosea's dealing with Gomer was upon repentance and faithfulness. Pray that your home may yet show forth that picture, that your children and all near to you may be kept from stumbling and kept from the evil one, sanctified by the truth.

We join you in asking the Father, in the name of the one Mediator between God and man, the Lord Jesus Christ, that He would open her eyes to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that she may receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith in Christ. Grant her wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom, and a true turning that bears lawful fruit meet for repentance. And uphold you, that you may walk worthily, filled with the knowledge of His will, letting love abound in knowledge and discernment, saying with Christ in Gethsemane, Nevertheless not my will but Yours be done. May the Holy Spirit sweetly open to you both the riches of His forgiving grace, and cause you to exult in Him who reconciled the world unto Himself in Christ, not counting our trespasses against us.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
