Forgiveness, Love and Mercy. Kindness. A better life

Caliennath

Disciple of Prayer
Lord God, I pray for forgiveness from you three. I pray for the Holy Spirit, always, and true restoration in my everlasting Covenant. I pray for it to be mended and restored here on Earth, and for such a great life in Heaven also, and for as good of a life here on Earth as much as possible also. Lord God, I pray for things to get better and improve. I pray for true forgiveness. I pray for no more eating disorder. I pray for a disconnect in a out of body experience thats hurtful at times and weird also at times. I pray for your eye, knowledge, kindness, love, mercy and protection always too. In Jesus name. In the blood of the Everlasting Covenant.

We join with you in bringing this heartfelt cry before the Lord and we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus and in the blood of the Everlasting Covenant, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive forgiveness and restoration.

We hear your longing for true forgiveness, for the presence of the Holy Spirit, for your covenant with God to be mended, and for a better life both now and in eternity. The Word assures us that God delights to forgive and to restore. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us Psalm 103:12. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow Isaiah 1:18. We praise God that through the blood of Jesus we have this everlasting covenant, for the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, even our Lord Jesus, make you complete in every good work to do his will Hebrews 13:20-21. Your desire for restoration here on earth and for great life in heaven reflects the heart God has for you, for Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly John 10:10, and He has prepared an eternal home for those who are His.

We also lift before the Lord your struggle with the eating disorder and with the distressing and strange out of body and disconnected experiences. We know your body is precious to God, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14, and your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God, and you are not your own, for you were bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. An eating disorder does not reflect His kindness toward you, and we pray for healing, for a renewed mind to see yourself as He sees you, with love and mercy, and for strength to nourish and honor the body He has given you. For the disconnection and hurtful experiences, we pray for the peace and soundness that comes from God alone, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. He promises to keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on Him, and to watch over you with His eye, for He says I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go, I will counsel you with my eye on you Psalm 32:8. We rebuke any spirit of confusion or torment and ask the Lord to ground you firmly in His truth and in the indwelling presence of His Holy Spirit, that you may know His nearness and protection always.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and through the blood of the Everlasting Covenant. We thank You for Your love and mercy and kindness toward this dear one. We ask for Your full forgiveness to be received and known deeply in the heart, washing away all guilt and shame. Pour out Your Holy Spirit anew, fill every place of emptiness, fear and disconnection with Your presence, and mend and restore the covenant relationship in a way that is felt here on earth day by day. Lord, we ask for a better life according to Your will, for things to improve and for Your eye and knowledge and protection to rest upon this life continually. Bring healing from the eating disorder, restore a healthy and peaceful relationship with food and with the body You created, and let Your love cast out all self condemnation. Heal the mind from every hurtful out of body and disconnected experience, grant a sound, clear and peaceful mind, and let Your mercy and truth anchor every thought in Christ. Lead into the abundant life You promise now and into everlasting joy with You in heaven. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our hope and our salvation, Amen.

We are grateful you shared this prayer with us. Your longing for forgiveness, kindness and a better life, and for your covenant to be mended and whole, comes through so clearly. Wanting that restoration both here and in eternity, and asking for the Holy Spirit to stay near, is a beautiful and honest place to bring before the Lord.

We also hear how heavy the other burdens feel, the eating struggle and the strange, hurtful sense of being disconnected from your body. Those experiences can be frightening and lonely, and they deserve care on every level. Alongside prayer, it helps to have people who can walk with you closely. If you are not already connected, we would encourage you to reach out soon to your primary care doctor and to a counselor who can listen well and help assess what support you need. For eating concerns a team approach with a medical provider, counselor and dietitian is often recommended, and that same kind of professional care can help you explore the disconnect you described. A trusted pastor can also walk with you for spiritual support.

Father, we lift them to You in Jesus name. Cover them with Your mercy and kindness, grant assurance of Your forgiveness, and let Your Holy Spirit bring comfort and guidance each day. Bring healing, protection and wisdom, and lead them to the right help and support. We ask for Your restoring work in their life according to Your will, on earth and for eternity. Amen.

Thank you for coming to God for prayer. May we all enjoy praying for you and any prayers you might need in the future. May our heavenly Father grant you peace of the holy spirit which is his love towards us. Forgiveness of sins and trangressions which are covered by the blood of Jesus our Lord. And we live a life that glorified God. May we honor God also in our bodies. In his heavenly name. Lord Yeshua (Jesus) name amen.

There is forgiveness with God, and your cry has been heard where forgiveness dwells. The word of the Lord by the prophet is, I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. This is divine forgiveness, not the forgiveness of man which may fail, but the forgiveness of God himself, surprising forgiveness, so surprising that the Lord repeats, I, even I, as if to assure the trembling heart that such sins can indeed be remitted. However sinful your life may have been until now, there is forgiveness with Him, and that forgiveness is complete. It is as when a creditor remits the whole debt to one who has nothing to pay, not a part but the whole, and the record is nailed to the cross. It is an eternal forgiveness, for the gifts and calling of God are without repentance, and He not only forgave at the first but continues daily to forgive.

You have asked for the Holy Spirit and for true restoration in the everlasting covenant, and for a better life both here and hereafter. There is another covenant besides the covenant of works, there is a covenant of rich, free, sovereign grace, ordered in all things and sure, and this is the essence of it, There is forgiveness. The Lord says by Ezekiel that He will give a new heart and put a new spirit within, and by Zechariah, they shall be as though I had not cast them aside. This is perfect restoration. He undertook to remove our burdens and to fulfil the conditions of our restoration, and according to covenant He appeared in our nature and bore the penalty in His own suffering and death, that we might have in Him a full forgiveness and be brought back to God. If you desire this restoration, believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself, as a personal participation. As eating is personal and none can eat for you, so none can believe for you, you must take Christ for yourself and trust Him alone for salvation, for there is no other name by which we must be saved.

I pray with you for that better life you long for, for a life mended here on earth as far as it may please the Lord to grant it, and for that great life in heaven which is sure to all who are in Christ. I pray also for your present afflictions, for the eating disorder that has burdened your body, and for the hurtful and strange disconnect as of being out of body at times. The Lord made both soul and body, and He is merciful to our infirmities. Seek Him daily for healing and for a sound mind, and do not walk alone in these trials, but seek also the help of faithful pastors and of those skilled to care for the body and mind, while you look to Christ who first forgives and then heals, and who sustains the life He gives.

May the eye of the Lord be upon you, and His knowledge guard you, His kindness and love and mercy overshadow you, and His protection keep you always. May He lift up the light of His countenance upon you and give you peace.

O Lord God, we come through Jesus Christ alone and through the blood of the everlasting covenant. We ask for true forgiveness for this soul who trembles and desires it, let that blessed whisper, There is forgiveness, drive away despair and enter with assurance. Grant the gift of Thy Holy Spirit, a new heart and a steadfast spirit, and true restoration according to Thy covenant of grace. Mend what is broken in a way that honors Thee, and grant improvement and a better life as it seems good in Thy wisdom, with fullness of joy in heaven to follow. Lay Thy healing hand upon the body and mind, deliver from the eating disorder and from every hurtful disconnect, and grant wholeness, kindness, love, mercy and protection continually. Keep this one in Christ, complete and eternally forgiven, to Thy glory. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
