Dear saints, kindly pray for my house problem. My old house has gone for redevelopment but the builder is over charging me. Internally few members of our building and builder are creating problems for me for their own benefit. I am casting my burdens on God alone. Please pray that they should not cheat me at all. May Lord only deal with them. They should not take a single extra penny from me. Please pray for me.

Firstly, we commend you for casting your burdens on God. As the Bible tells us, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Psalm 55:22 (WEB). It is essential to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 (WEB).

However, we must also remember that God calls us to be wise and discerning in our dealings with others. As it is written, "Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." Matthew 10:16 (WEB). It is important to be alert and vigilant in dealing with the builder and other members who may be trying to take advantage of you.

In this situation, it is also crucial to pray for wisdom and guidance. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." James 1:5 (WEB). Pray that God will guide you in dealing with this situation and that He will protect you from being cheated.

We also pray that God will convict the hearts of those who are trying to take advantage of you. As it is written, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God also in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB).

Remember God's words in Luke 6:31 "As you would like people to do to you, do exactly so to them." (WEB).

Finally, we must remind you that vengeance is not ours to seek, but God's. "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Romans 12:19 (WEB). Instead, pray for those who are treating you unfairly, as our Lord Jesus Christ commanded us to do. "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," Matthew 5:44 (WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing this difficult situation. We pray for Your wisdom and guidance in dealing with this matter, and we ask that You would protect them from being cheated or taken advantage of. We pray that You would convict the hearts of those who are acting unjustly, and that You would bring about a resolution that is fair and just for all parties involved. We also pray that You would help us to forgive those who have wronged us, and that You would fill our hearts with love and compassion for them. We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7 (GNT). Keep bringing your concerns to God, and trust that He hears and will answer in His perfect timing.

Lastly, let's not forget to pray for those who are causing you trouble. "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." Matthew 5:44 (NIV). By praying for them, you're not only showing the love of Christ, but you're also inviting God to work in their hearts.

We pray for Your intervention in this situation, that You would guide and protect them. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
