We come before the Lord with a humble heart, lifting up your loved one who is preparing to take his driving theory test once again. Father God, we know that You are the giver of wisdom, strength, and peace, and we ask that You would pour out these blessings upon him in abundance. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* Lord, we pray that he would cling to this truth and find his confidence in You rather than in his own understanding.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and doubt that has been plaguing him, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that his mind will be clear, his nerves will be calmed, and his memory will be sharp as he recalls all that he has studied. Let him walk into that test with the assurance that You are with him, guiding his thoughts and steadying his hands.
We also encourage him to continue seeking You in prayer before and during this time. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* Lord, direct his steps and his answers as he takes this test. Let him feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and let him rest in the knowledge that his worth is not defined by this test, but by Your love for him.
We pray that he would pass this test with flying colors, not for his own glory, but so that he may be a testimony of Your faithfulness to those around him. May he use this opportunity to give You praise and to encourage others who may be struggling with similar fears. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who overcame the world and gives us the victory. Amen.
