Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice with you in this good and faithful proclamation of the gospel and we stand in agreement for all those who are seeking salvation today.

You have pointed to the very heart of the gospel and we affirm that truth with you, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10

We also praise God that you have called those who hear to confess and turn from their sins and to follow and obey Jesus, for that is true repentance. The Scripture says, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 And Jesus himself said, If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. Matthew 16:24

We love your encouragement for new believers and seekers to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and to start in the book of John, for there they will meet Jesus Christ himself. John so clearly reveals who He is, that God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 And that Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is a gift of grace, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

We join together and pray for every soul who is searching right now.

Father in heaven, we lift up to You every person who is hungering for salvation and for truth. We pray that You would draw them by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and give them faith to believe in Your Son Jesus Christ who died for their sins and rose again. Grant them courage to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and to turn from their sins and to walk in obedience to You. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and make them new creations. Lead them into Your Word, especially into the Gospel of John, that they may know You and grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord. We ask this in the precious and saving name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Thank you for sharing this burden for people who are searching. We can hear your care for those who want to know Jesus and find a real starting place, and we join you in praying for every person who reads your words and is quietly asking what it means to follow Him.

What you described is at the heart of our faith, that salvation is God’s gracious gift that brings forgiveness and a new life, not just a change of mind but a wholeness that touches how we live day to day. It is a beginning of walking with Christ, learning to trust Him and grow in grace over time.

For anyone who is exploring this for the first time, a simple next step can help make it more personal. As you mentioned, starting in the Gospel of John is a wonderful place to hear Jesus in His own words. If you can, read a little each day and talk it through with a pastor or a mature believer in a local church who can answer questions and walk alongside you. You do not have to figure it all out alone.

Father, we lift up everyone who is seeking You right now. Draw each one close, give clarity and peace as they seek You, and surround them with people who will help them know You more. We ask for Your mercy and transforming work in every heart that is turning toward Christ. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It is a precious word which you have set before us, and there is no sweeter truth to publish than this, that salvation is by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Scripture says, If thou shalt confess with thy mouth that Jesus is Lord, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

There is a due order here which we must keep. Faith is first, and confession follows. With the heart we privately and personally rest upon Christ crucified, upon His finished work, and not upon our own prayers or repentance or likeness to Him. Then with the mouth we publicly and emphatically avow to others the ground of our confidence. That which we rest upon for salvation becomes the subject of our confession before God and before men. Do say and say it unmistakably, I am the Lord's, for this confession of faith must be personal. Nobody can perform your religion for you. Your faith must be your own faith, your coming to Christ must be your own coming.

And be it laid down as a great truth most plainly written in the Word, that no faith can be genuine but such as is perfectly consistent with repentance for past sin, and no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith. They come into the soul together, like Siamese twins, and repentance lives as long as faith lives. True repentance, which is the work of the Spirit of God, gives God glory. It is not a carnal repentance that is of the flesh, but a holy and heavenly sorrow for sin that looks with hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work. It ejects sin as an evil tenant and admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart.

Then obedience becomes the gracious fruit. Faith is the morning star of obedience. When faith and godly fear are wrought in the heart, they bring forth good fruit, and we obey the Lord carefully and exactly, not turning to the right hand or to the left. No man is really saved unless he is in his heart obedient to Christ. We do not give a secondary place to obedience, for we accept the Lord Jesus by faith and He teaches us obedience and creates it in us. Prove that you have grace by your desire to follow and obey Him in all things, beginning at home and walking in the way of faith.

We will pray for those who are seeking salvation now, that the Holy Spirit who alone works faith in the heart would open blind eyes to see Christ as He is set forth in the Word. May He grant to every seeker a sincere faith that treats all God's Word alike, a hearty repentance that needs not to be repented of, and a bold confession with the mouth unto salvation. May they rest wholly upon Jesus, who is all our salvation, the Alpha and Omega, the Author and Finisher of faith, and may they be kept to walk in prompt and loving obedience as children and not as slaves.

Your counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and to start in the book of John, is wise. There you will see most clearly the glory of the Son of God, that believing ye might have life through His name. Let every seeker take up that Gospel and ask the Spirit to work faith through it, for simple faith is always the work of the Spirit, and it is by the Spirit that we continue to exercise faith as we wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for those who are seeking salvation is good and pleasing to God, for He desires all to come to repentance and to know His Son.

Scripture makes the way plain and short, as it is written, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. This short word carries not only salvation but also righteousness, and it is open to all who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place.

To confess Him truly is also to turn from sin. This means coming to a sense of our own sins, condemning them before God, and bringing forth fruits worthy of repentance. It is not a sorrow of words only, but a change of heart that turns away from sin and follows and obeys Jesus. Those who make this confession, even if they are rejected by others for the sake of truth, are honored by Christ Himself, for He finds those who are cast out and brings them to the fountain of salvation.

I join you in praying for every seeking soul. Father, in Your mercy draw each one who is searching. Open their hearts to believe that Jesus died and rose again, grant them grace to confess Him as Lord with their mouths, to turn from sin, and to follow Him in obedience. Lead them as they read Your Word, especially in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning in John, that they may see Christ clearly and trust Him fully. Keep them in Your grace that they may grow in faith and walk in Your ways. Amen.

Your burden to see others come to salvation in Jesus Christ is encouraging and it is right to point people to what Scripture says in Romans 10 verses 9 and 10, that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. With the heart we believe and are made right before God, and with the mouth we confess and are saved.

That promise rests entirely on faith. Faith is not just a feeling or an idea, it is the substance of what we hope for and the evidence of what we cannot yet see. It is what makes the promises of God real to us now. Scripture says without faith it is impossible to please God, and it is through faith that we are declared righteous and accepted by Him. Like Abraham, our faith in Jesus, who was crucified for our offenses and raised for our justification, is counted by God as righteousness.

Salvation is by grace through faith alone, not by works, so that no one can boast. We cannot earn it, deserve it, or purchase it, and the works of the law can never save us. We receive the Holy Spirit and the new life He gives not by trying harder but by hearing with faith and trusting Christ. At the same time, a genuine faith will always show itself in a changed life. Works cannot create faith and they cannot replace it, but true faith will produce works. Faith comes first, and then that faith moves us to obey and to serve, not out of obligation to earn salvation but out of love and gratitude because we have already been saved.

That is why repentance belongs with faith. To repent is to turn away from sin and turn toward God, and that turning will be seen in the fruit of a new direction. As John the Baptist taught, we show the reality of repentance by the lives we then live. James makes the same point, that the faith which justifies is the kind of faith that can be seen in what we do. If there is no evidence of a changed heart and a desire to follow Jesus, that kind of faith is to be questioned. We do not look to our works to save us, we look to them as the proof that God has truly saved us and is at work in us.

Your counsel to confess sin, to trust Christ, and to follow and obey Him is faithful to this balance. Continue to encourage people to call on the Lord with a sincere heart, trusting Him alone to save, and then to walk in obedience as His disciples.

Your advice to read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning with John, is wise. John clearly presents who Jesus is, what He has done, and what it means to believe in Him and have eternal life. As people read, encourage them to pray and ask God to help them understand, to believe what they read, and to respond with faith and patience as they learn to trust His Word.

May the Lord use your witness to draw many to Himself, and may those who hear continue on beyond the first foundation of repentance and faith toward God into a growing, maturing walk with Christ.
