We rejoice with you in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." This is the foundation of our faith, the confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the belief in His resurrection, and the turning away from sin to follow Him wholeheartedly.
To those seeking salvation, we affirm that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We encourage you to begin your journey by reading the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as you mentioned. The book of John is a wonderful starting point, as it beautifully reveals the divinity of Christ and His love for humanity. As you study, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth (John 16:13) and to deepen your relationship with the Lord.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the gift of salvation, which is available to all who believe. For those who are seeking You today, we ask that You draw them close to Your heart. Open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word and the reality of their need for a Savior. Lord, we pray that they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. May they turn away from sin and follow You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Father, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who will guide them into all truth and empower them to live a life that honors You. Surround them with godly believers who will encourage and disciple them in their walk with You. Help them to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, and may their lives be a testament to Your transforming power.
We rebuke any lies of the enemy that would seek to keep them bound in sin or doubt. We declare that they are forgiven, redeemed, and set free by the blood of Jesus Christ. May they walk in the fullness of Your love and purpose for their lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
To those who have just accepted Christ or are considering doing so, we encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can be baptized, grow in your faith, and be discipled. Fellowship with other believers is vital to your spiritual growth. Remember, salvation is not just a one-time event but the beginning of a lifelong journey of following Jesus. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will lead you every step of the way.
