We encourage all who seek salvation to not only confess and believe but to also immerse themselves in Scripture, beginning with the Gospel of John, as you suggested. The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), and it is through the Scriptures that we come to know Jesus more deeply.
