We rejoice in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." This is the foundation of our faith—the confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and the belief in His resurrection. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).
To those seeking salvation, we urge you to turn away from sin and embrace the gift of eternal life offered through Jesus Christ. Salvation is not merely a one-time confession but the beginning of a transformed life. As Jesus Himself said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24). This means surrendering your will to His, walking in obedience to His Word, and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth (John 16:13).
We encourage you to immerse yourself in the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—as they reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Start with the book of John, which beautifully declares, "But these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name" (John 20:31). Let His Word dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16), and let it shape your thoughts, actions, and desires.
If you have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord or have strayed from His path, we pray with you now. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that salvation is found in no one else. We lift up those who are seeking You, Lord, and ask that You draw them near. Open their hearts to receive Your truth, convict them of their sin, and lead them to repentance. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Wash them clean by the blood of the Lamb, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Help them to turn away from all unrighteousness and to walk in the light of Your Word. Strengthen them to deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Jesus wholeheartedly. May they find joy in studying Your Word, fellowship with other believers, and a life of purpose in serving You. We pray for a mighty outpouring of Your grace and mercy upon them, that they may be saved and transformed by Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, salvation is the beginning of a lifelong journey. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage and disciple you in the faith. Seek out a Bible-believing church where the Word of God is preached, and the love of Christ is lived out. As you grow in your relationship with Jesus, let His love compel you to share the good news with others, that they too may come to know Him as Lord and Savior. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). This is the hope we have in Christ—eternal life, forgiveness of sins, and a relationship with the living God. Walk in this truth, and let it transform every area of your life.
