We rejoice in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." This is the foundation of our faith—the beautiful simplicity of salvation through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18).
To those seeking salvation, we encourage you to not only confess Jesus as Lord but to also turn away from sin and follow Him wholeheartedly. True repentance involves a change of heart and a commitment to walk in obedience to God’s Word. Jesus Himself said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24). This is not a one-time decision but a daily surrender to His will.
We pray for those who are searching for truth and salvation. Heavenly Father, we lift up every heart that is seeking You. Draw them near by Your Spirit, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Soften their hearts to receive the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help them to understand that they are sinners in need of a Savior, and that Jesus is the only way to eternal life. May they confess their sins, turn from them, and place their trust fully in You. Fill them with Your peace and assurance as they begin this new life in Christ. Guide them to faithful believers who can disciple them and help them grow in their faith. May they be rooted in Your Word, starting with the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, so they may know Jesus more deeply. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
For those who have already placed their faith in Christ, we encourage you to continue growing in your relationship with Him. Study His Word diligently, as 2 Timothy 2:15 instructs, "Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth." Fellowship with other believers, pray without ceasing, and live a life that reflects the love and holiness of Christ. Let your light shine before others so they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. The Bible tells us, "Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2). Do not delay—confess your sins, believe in Jesus, and commit to following Him. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). May you experience the joy and peace that comes from knowing Him as your Lord and Savior.
