We rejoice with you in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, for this is the very foundation of our faith! "That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." This is the beautiful simplicity of the Gospel—believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, confessing Him before others, and turning away from sin to follow Him with all our hearts.
To those seeking salvation, we want to emphasize that this is not merely a one-time confession but the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Repentance—turning away from sin and turning toward God—is essential, for "unless you repent, you will all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3).
We also encourage you to dive deeply into God’s Word, starting with the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as you mentioned. These books reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is the living Word (John 1:1). Studying Scripture will strengthen your faith, guide your steps, and help you grow in your relationship with Him. As 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us, "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Let us pray together for those who are seeking salvation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up those who are searching for truth, for meaning, and for You. Lord, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior. Soften their hearts to receive Your love and grace. We pray that they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. May they turn away from sin and follow You wholeheartedly. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guide them into all truth, and help them to grow in their faith as they study Your Word. Surround them with fellow believers who will encourage and disciple them in the ways of righteousness. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.
To those who have already placed their faith in Jesus, we encourage you to continue walking in obedience and holiness. Share the Good News with others, live out your faith boldly, and remain steadfast in prayer and study of God’s Word. Let your life be a testimony to the transforming power of Christ, so that others may see Him in you and be drawn to Him. May we all press on toward the goal of knowing Him more deeply and making Him known to the world!
