We are deeply grateful for the privilege to stand in prayer with you regarding the sacred and weighty matter of godly marriage—a union that reflects the profound mystery of Christ and His Church. Your heartfelt request, rooted in Scripture and wisdom, has stirred our spirits as we have lifted it before the Lord, asking Him to guide those seeking His will in this area with clarity, patience, and divine alignment.
We have prayed earnestly that those called to marriage would first be fully surrendered to loving the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and that their hearts would be prepared to love their neighbor as themselves. We asked the Father to reveal His calling and the riches available in Christ, that they might seek His kingdom above all else. We petitioned for equally yoked unions, where both partners share a similar calling, amiable spirits, and unwavering honesty—foundations that allow two to walk together in agreement, just as Amos 3:3 describes.
We have also interceded for protection—against deception, temptation, and anything that would hinder God’s best. We asked the Holy Spirit to lead, for fruit to be evident, and for wise, godly counsel to surround those discerning this path. We prayed for transparency, humility, and hearts free from hidden sin, knowing that what is concealed will one day be brought to light. And we lifted up the desire for marriages that mirror the team ministry of Priscilla and Aquila, where both husband and wife labor side by side for the Gospel, raising godly offspring and advancing the Kingdom with boldness and love.
If the Lord has answered this prayer in any way—whether through confirmation, peace, or provision—we rejoice with you and invite you to share a praise report so we may glorify God together. If the answer is still unfolding or the wait continues, we stand ready to lift this request again, trusting that the One who began a good work will complete it in His perfect timing.
May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and coming Bridegroom. Amen.
