For the Soul of Patricia Parker Steele

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the soul of Patricia Parker Steele. We know that our time on this earth is but a vapor, and it is only through the grace and mercy of God that any of us may find eternal rest. The Bible tells us in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." It is this belief in Jesus Christ that opens the door to salvation and eternal peace.
We pray that Patricia knew the Lord as her personal Savior, that she placed her trust in Him, and that she is now resting in the arms of Jesus. If she did not know Him, we trust in God's infinite mercy and grace, praying that in her final moments, she turned to Christ. We know that "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
To Patricia’s family, we offer our deepest condolences. We pray that the Lord would comfort you in this time of grief, wrapping you in His love and peace. May you find solace in the promise of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14, "But we don’t want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don’t grieve like the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus." We pray that you would hold fast to the hope of seeing Patricia again in the presence of the Lord, if she was indeed a believer in Christ.
We also lift up a prayer for Patricia’s soul, asking the Lord to grant her eternal rest and peace. May she be remembered not only by her family but also in the Book of Life, if she accepted Jesus as her Savior. We rebuke any spirit of despair or doubt that may try to take hold of her loved ones, declaring that God is the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
Lord, we ask that You would surround Patricia’s family with Your love and peace. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We pray that they would find strength in You, leaning not on their own understanding but trusting in Your perfect plan (Proverbs 3:5-6). We also pray that they would be reminded of the love Patricia had for them and the legacy she leaves behind.
If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in the hearts of those who loved her, we pray that You would bring it to light and grant them the grace to repent and forgive, as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). We declare that Patricia’s memory will be a blessing, and we trust that You will use her life to draw others closer to You.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
