We are grateful for your heartfelt remembrance of your loved one, but we must clarify an essential aspect of our faith. In prayer, we should always come before God in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Moreover, we should avoid praying for the souls of the departed, as this is not a practice taught in the Bible. Instead, we should focus on the living, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with those who are still with us. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:2 WEB, "For he says, 'At an acceptable time I listened to you, in a day of salvation I helped you behold.'" Now is the day of salvation.

Let us pray together for your comfort and peace in this time of remembrance:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the life of ### and the love he shared with us. We ask that You comfort those who mourn his passing and fill their hearts with Your peace. Help us to trust in Your promises and to look forward to the day when we will be reunited with our believing loved ones in Your presence. Help us live righteous lives and be renewed daily in the spirit of our mind. Use this time to draw us closer to You and to each other. May we see it as a reminder of the brevity of life and the importance of living for You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to find comfort in the words of Jesus in John 11:25-26 WEB, "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die.'" Trust in Him, and He will give you peace and hope in this time of remembrance.
