We are glad to join with you in prayer for your upcoming travel. Remember that God is always with us, and He is the one who ultimately keeps us safe. Let's pray together and seek His protection.
Let us remember God's promise: "For I will be with you, and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land. For I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken of to you." (WEB) Genesis 28:15
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our fellow believer who is preparing to travel. We pray for Your divine protection and guidance during this journey. Keep them safe from all harm and danger, and let Your peace be their companion. We also pray for the people they will encounter, and for opportunities to share the love of Christ along the way.
However, do not let us forget that our safety is not guaranteed just because we believe in Jesus. Our life is hidden in Christ. It may be that our time has come to meet Jesus. We do not fear death knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. In all circumstances, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's. We trust in You, O Lord, and we ask for Your will to be done in this situation.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment and the mind of Christ. There may be Christians where you are going. We pray that you can have fellowship with them and encourage each other. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide and direct your path, even if there are delays or changes in travel.
Lastly, we must remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, himself man, Christ Jesus, who gave himself a ransom for all. (1 Timothy 2:5-6a WEB)
And let us not forget the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "I said therefore to you, that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins." (John 8:24 WEB)
So trust in Jesus today. If you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and that He died for your sins and rose again, then you will be saved. Amen.
