Not to be weak heart. AMEN

We are lifting you and our brother who serves as a cook before the Lord together in Jesus' name and we thank you for reaching out to us as brothers and sisters in Christ.

We bring your stomach trouble before our Great Physician. We pray for relief from this loose motion and that what you eat would nourish your body as God designed. We ask the Lord to settle your stomach, to restore balance and strength, and to stop this affliction. We thank God that you have taken ORS and we encourage you to continue to stay hydrated and to seek medical care again if this continues, for the Lord often works through the wisdom He gives to doctors. We remember the promise that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3 and that He will restore health and heal wounds Jeremiah 30:17. We pray for complete healing for you in Jesus' name.

We also join together in prayer for our dear brother and his left middle finger. We know how painful and slow a nail infection can be, how swelling and bleeding and constant exposure to water can make it so difficult to work and to heal, especially when medicine is running out. We ask the Lord to touch that finger, to bring down the swelling, to close the wound, to cleanse the infection completely and to bring swift and full healing. We pray for provision for any further medicine or care he may need and for protection as he must continue to work. We pray that the Lord will lay His healing hand upon him, for by His wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5 and we ask for His mercy to make this healing complete.

We also hear your heart about struggling to express yourself to your family. You keep things inside, you feel scared and worried to share your problems or to ask for suggestion and help even when you know you should, and you desire to be strong hearted and not weak hearted. We want to encourage you that this fear does not come from the Lord, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. The Lord wants you to live in freedom and not in worry. We pray that He will give you courage and a strong heart, that He will help you to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. We pray that in nothing you would be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, you would let your requests be made known to God and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We encourage you, our sibling in Christ, to take small steps of faith in this area. The Lord has placed family around you for support and counsel, for where there is no counsel, plans fail, but in a multitude of counselors they are established Proverbs 11:14. Begin with prayer, asking God for the right words and the right moment, then share one small concern openly with a trusted family member. You do not need to share everything at once. As you practice, God will build your confidence and strength. Remember He commands us to be strong and courageous, not to be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go Joshua 1:9.

We pray together now, Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our healer and our peace. We lift up our sibling with this stomach affliction, touch the body, stop the loose motion, restore digestion and strength and bring comfort and relief. We lift up our brother who cooks, touch his left middle finger, heal the nail infection, remove the swelling and bleeding, restore the tissue and let it heal fully even as he must use his hands for work, provide for his needs. And Father, we lift up this precious heart that longs to be open and strong, take away the spirit of fear and worry, give boldness and peace to share burdens with family, give wisdom to the family to listen with love and grace, and let Your perfect love cast out all fear. Let Your healing and Your peace reign in both body and heart. We ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, Amen.

We appreciate you reaching out so honestly and sharing what is on your heart. We are holding you and your cook brother in prayer right now.

For your stomach trouble, we are praying for relief and for your strength to return. You did well to take ORS, and since what you eat is still passing quickly, please also have a clinician see you soon if it continues, alongside our prayers. The same for your cook brother, a swollen, infected finger that is slow to heal and still bleeding, with medicine running out and work that keeps him near water, really needs prompt follow up. We pray the swelling goes down completely and he can work without pain, and we encourage him to return to his doctor before the medicine is finished so it can be checked properly.

We also hear how hard it is for you to put your worries into words with your family. Wanting to ask for help but feeling scared to speak up is a heavy place to be, and it makes sense you would keep things inside. One small step that helps many people is to choose one trusted family member and one small matter first. You could even write a sentence or two beforehand, what the problem is and what kind of help you would like, and then share it when things are calm. It keeps it simple and gives them a clear way to support you.

Father, we bring our brother before You in Jesus' name. Please bring comfort to his stomach and restore him, bring healing to his cook brother's finger, and give them both wisdom as they seek care. Give our brother courage and a strong heart to share openly with his family and to receive their help. We trust them to Your care. Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Your request has been heard and we have carried it before the throne of grace, where Jesus our great Physician still shows His power to heal.

We pray for your body in this present affliction of the stomach and loose motion. We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they urge us to seek a physician, and how much more should they urge us to seek the Lord. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He dwells with His people pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. We have asked the Lord to settle your stomach, to stop what is passing through you, to restore strength, and to make the means you have used, even the ORS, effectual by His blessing. Continue to seek proper care and rest, and cast this care upon Him for He careth for you.

We pray also for the cook, our brother whose left middle finger suffers from the nail infection and swelling. We know how such a wound, though small, hinders all work and is made worse by water and daily labour, and how blood and pain discourage the heart when medicine is spent and healing is slow. We have asked the Lord to cleanse the infection, to close the wound, to take away the swelling and to give complete healing. May the Lord guide you to further help from the physician if needed, and keep the hand clean and protected until it is whole. He who binds up the broken heart will also bind up the wounds of the body according to His wise mercy.

We pray especially for that heaviness of heart which keeps you from opening your troubles to your family. You describe a fear and worry in sharing what is not working and in asking for suggestion or help, so that you keep all within. Hear the word of the Lord, Fear not, for I will help thee. We must labour to get rid as much as possible of fear, for fear is weakening and fear dishonours God who has promised to be with us. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty, but faith overcomes fear when we cast all our care upon Him. A cheerful constancy in sincere private devotion is a mark of Divine grace, and Daniel always had subjects for prayer and reasons for prayer, and he looked into the face of his God and would not fear the face of man or lion. Therefore we exhort you to play the man and let your faith overcome your fear. First pour out your heart to the Lord in secret, telling Him all that confuses and burdens you, and then, in dependence upon Him, speak openly to your family whom God has given you for counsel and comfort. To be strong in heart is not to have no fear in yourself, but to trust in promised strength and to obey that gracious word, Fear not.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, forgive our sins through the blood of Jesus Christ Thy Son, through whom alone is salvation, and heal us as Thou hast promised. Look upon our brother in his bodily weakness and stay this loose motion and restore his stomach. Look upon our brother the cook and touch his finger with healing virtue that he may work without pain. Look upon Thy child who is fearful to speak, take away the spirit of fear and give a strong heart, a clear mouth to make known his needs to his family, and wisdom to his family to hear with love. Help us all to fear Thee only, and to fear not them that can harm the body, but to rest in Him who after He has killed has power to cast into hell, and who yet says Fear not, I have redeemed thee. Grant us grace to cast all our care upon Thee. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope we ask it. Amen.
