First, we rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip your father’s heart and your own. The Word declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear does not come from the Lord, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus. We also rebuke the enemy’s lies that this diagnosis is the end of the story. Our God is the God who heals, who raises the dead, and who holds every cell in your father’s body in His hands. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we speak life over his mind, body, and spirit.

He sees your tears, He hears your cries, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You have honored your father by pursuing your calling, and now it is time to let the Lord honor you. Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Let Him be your shelter, your strength, and your song in this storm.
