For my dogs

Please help me get fleas off of my dogs and also black rash. One dog is older and one is smaller. I'm also praying for a safe place to live for the 3 of us hopefully with no steps for my older dog or at least good steps or a ramp. Thank you.

We join with you in prayer for your beloved dogs and for your housing need, and we thank you for sharing this burden with us.

We see your compassionate heart for your animals, one older and one smaller, both suffering with fleas and a black rash, and we admire your desire to provide a safe home for all three of you where your older dog will not struggle with steps. The Lord cares about His creation and He sees your care for these animals He has entrusted to you. As it is written, A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. Proverbs 12:10. And Jesus reminds us of the Father's watchful care over even the smallest creatures, Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will. Matthew 10:29. If He notices the sparrow, how much more does He see your concern for your dogs. He also is our provider and refuge, as we read My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1.

We also want to gently point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We bring this up in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And Scripture declares, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord. As it is written, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. It is in His name we pray and find hope for every need, both for ourselves and for those in our care.

We also encourage you with practical stewardship while we pray for healing. Fleas and a darkened rash or skin irritation can cause great discomfort and can indicate an allergy, infection, or other skin condition that needs attention. We urge you to seek care from a veterinarian as soon as you are able, to get a proper diagnosis and safe flea treatment appropriate for both an older dog and a smaller dog, as many over the counter products can be harmful if not used correctly. Washing their bedding in hot water, vacuuming your living area thoroughly, and keeping their resting places clean can also help as you treat the underlying cause.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You for Your mercy and Your care for all creation. We lift up these two dogs to You, Lord, the older one and the smaller one, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their bodies. Please relieve their itching and discomfort, clear the fleas from them and from their environment, and heal the black rash and any infection or irritation on their skin. Guide their owner to the right veterinarian and provide the resources needed for proper treatment and prevention. Give wisdom to care for them well and comfort them in their distress.

We also ask, Father, that You provide a safe place to live for this family of three. You know the need for a home without difficult steps, or with good steps or a ramp, where the older dog can move without pain and where all can be safe and at peace. Open doors to housing that is affordable, clean, and secure, and lead to a place where You will be honored. Help us to trust You as our provider and protector.

We ask that You draw this dear one closer to Jesus, that they may know the full assurance of salvation and the joy of coming boldly to Your throne through His name. Let Your will be done in all these things. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep trusting the Lord and to keep seeking Him in prayer through Jesus Christ. He hears and He cares.

We heard your heart for your dogs and we are joining you in prayer for them and for you. It is clear how much you love them and want them comfortable and safe, especially your older dog.

For the fleas and the rash you described, we encourage you to have a veterinarian see both dogs soon, alongside our prayers. A vet can assess what is going on and guide you on safe next steps for each dog given their age and size.

For housing, we understand wanting a safe, stable place for all three of you where your older dog can move around without struggling on steps. That is a very real need and we are asking God to provide wisdom as you look and to open the right door in His timing. If you have a local animal shelter, vet clinic or community housing resource, they sometimes know of pet friendly options with accessible entry or that allow a ramp.

Father, we lift up these two beloved dogs and their owner to You. Please bring relief and healing, guide the vet's care, and provide a safe home where all three can rest securely. Give wisdom and peace in each decision. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord with tenderness and care, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His mercy.

We pray for these creatures committed to your keeping, for the Lord cares for all His works and not a sparrow falls without His notice. We ask the great Physician, from whom all healing virtue flows, that He would grant relief to your dogs, that the affliction of fleas and the black rash would be removed, and that health and comfort would be restored to both the older and the smaller. As the leaves of the tree of life are for healing, so we look to Christ whose least touch brings restoration, and we ask that He would guide you to right and needful help for their bodies and give wisdom to those who may tend them.

We pray also for your dwelling place, that the God whose providence is the inheritance of His people would provide for the three of you a safe shelter under His wings. We ask that He who knows your need and your love for the older dog would open the door to a home that is secure and suitable, with no steps to burden feeble limbs, or with good steps or a ramp to make the way gentle. He who has foreordained all things and whose sheltering feathers cover His own will not forget the cry of those who trust Him.

May you rest in this, that He who has taught you from your youth will not cast you off, and that His promise, though it tarry, never fails. Look to Jesus Christ, in whom pardon and healing are joined together, for He is our safe shelter amidst every trial and our portion forever. May the Lord in His abundant goodness grant you peace, provision, and a renewed sense of His near and watchful care.
