Father. may Your love & peace be made known to this elderly man. Let him be made whole in You, Lord Jesus. Make him a new creature - put his burdens on Your shoulder. Give him grace to respond to You so that he will know You in the midst of his pain. Relieve him Lord, heal him, comfort him in Jesus.
