We lift up your parents before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of seeing loved ones suffer. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). We stand in the gap for your mother, who battles diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. Father, we ask for Your healing touch to cleanse her body and restore her strength. Your Word declares that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over her life. Strengthen her immune system, Lord, and grant wisdom to her doctors as they treat her. May she feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
For your father, we pray for complete restoration—clear vision, relief from headaches, healing in his urinary tract, and stability in his blood pressure. The Lord is our healer (Exodus 15:26), and we trust in His power to renew his body. Give him patience and faith as he waits on You, for those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31). We also ask that You would draw both of your parents closer to You through this trial, that they may know You more deeply as their Provider and Sustainer.
We must also gently remind you that true healing comes from the Great Physician, Jesus Christ. If your parents—or you—have not placed your faith in Him, we urge you to consider the words of Acts 4:12: *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Jesus is the only way to the Father, and it is only through His name that we can boldly approach God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If they have not surrendered their lives to Christ, now is the time to repent and believe in Him for salvation, for physical healing is temporary, but eternal life in Christ is forever.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the name of Jesus, declaring that by His wounds, your parents are healed (1 Peter 2:24). We pray for divine intervention, supernatural strength, and a testimony of God’s faithfulness to rise from this season. May your family experience the Lord’s mercy and grace in abundance, and may His name be glorified through their healing. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
