We lift up your father, ###, before the Lord, asking for His healing touch and peace to cover him tonight and every night. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 4:8, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* We know that God is the giver of rest, and we trust Him to grant ### deep, uninterrupted sleep as his body heals.
The pain and limitations from his fracture must be wearying, but we take comfort in Isaiah 40:29, which tells us, *"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might."* We pray that the Lord would strengthen ###’s body, ease his back pain, and restore his ability to move freely. May the Holy Spirit also bring comfort to his mind, casting out any anxiety or restlessness that disrupts his sleep.
We also encourage you to speak life over your father, reminding him of God’s promises. Proverbs 17:22 says, *"A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."* Let him know that the Lord is near, even in this season of physical struggle, and that his healing is part of God’s perfect plan.
Father, we ask that You would surround ### with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remove every disturbance—whether physical pain, spiritual attack, or wandering thoughts—and let him rest securely in Your arms. Restore his body, renew his strength, and let his sleep be sweet and deep, for Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
