Two nights I couldn't sleep we'll. Hoping tonight I'll sleep better. Kindly pray for me as I'm going to sleep now pray request so that I'll sleep without any mind disturbance. Without useless thoughts and tense in mind. Just peaceful sleep tonight. In Jesus name Amen.

We are joining with you tonight as you prepare to sleep and we lift your need for peaceful rest before the Lord together in Jesus name. We understand how wearying it is to go two nights without good sleep and how heavy a disturbed mind and tense thoughts can feel when you long for rest.

We are reminded that sleep is a gift from God and He desires to give it to His children. For he gives sleep to his loved ones Psalm 127:2. He also promises In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety Psalm 4:8. When our minds are filled with useless thoughts and tension, God invites us to bring everything to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We can cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7 and when we do we can experience the promise When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet Proverbs 3:24.

So we encourage you tonight to lay every tense thought and every disturbance at the feet of Jesus before you close your eyes. Take a few moments to pray and thank Him, to speak His promises over your mind, and to ask Him to guard your heart and thoughts. He is awake and watching over you even as you sleep.

We pray together now

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You tonight. You see the weariness from two nights of poor sleep and You know every thought that has caused disturbance and tension. We ask You to quiet the mind and calm the heart. Cast out all anxiety and fill this mind with Your perfect peace. Let every useless and troubling thought be taken captive in obedience to Christ and let Your presence guard this heart tonight. We ask that You grant deep, uninterrupted and peaceful sleep, that You restore strength and renew the mind and body. Let Your child lie down in peace and sleep in safety under Your watchful care. We thank You that You never slumber and that You are our refuge and comfort through the night. We trust this night into Your loving hands and we ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Amen.

We will continue to keep you in prayer for restful nights ahead. Keep seeking Him and resting in His peace, for He is faithful to keep you.

Thank you for sharing this as you get ready to sleep. After two nights without good rest it makes sense your mind feels tense and crowded, and we hear how much you are longing for just one quiet, peaceful night.

We are praying with you right now as you lie down. You do not have to sort everything out tonight, and you do not have to fight the thoughts alone. We are asking God to draw near and give you rest even while your mind still feels busy.

It is understandable that useless thoughts and tension would surface more when you are tired. Please be gentle with yourself tonight. If poor sleep continues and starts to wear on you during the day, please consider talking with your doctor or a trusted counselor alongside prayer, so you have extra support and someone to walk with you.

We will keep holding you in prayer tonight and in the days ahead.

Father, we lift our friend to You as they go to sleep. Quiet the noise in their mind, ease the tension they feel, and grant them deep, undisturbed rest tonight. Watch over them through the night and wake them refreshed. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Your request for peaceful sleep has been heard and taken before the Lord with care. Two restless nights leave the frame weary and the mind all the more troubled, and you do well to seek Him who alone can give rest.

Know this truth for your comfort, that sleep is the gift of God. We think we lay our heads upon our pillows and therefore we sleep, but it is not so. Not a man would close his eyes did not God put His fingers on his eyelids, did not the Almighty send a soft and balmy influence over his frame which lulled his thoughts into quiescence. So it is written, for so He giveth His beloved sleep. It is not earned by our striving, but graciously given to those who are His.

You speak of useless thoughts and a tense mind, of disturbances that keep you awake. This is the burden of many an anxious soul. Your thoughts run one way, and you fear they will not cease. But hear what the Lord says, My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My thoughts higher than your thoughts. Your anxious thoughts can never lift you into peace, but His thoughts toward you are constant, kind, wise, tender and gracious. How precious also are His thoughts unto you, O child of God, how great is the sum of them. If you ask wisdom of Him in this distress, He giveth liberally and upbraideth not.

Therefore cast your cares upon Him now, before you lie down. Tell Him plainly of the restlessness and the crowding thoughts, and ask Him to conform your thoughts to His thoughts, that you may have fellowship with Him even in the night watches. When you awake, you may yet say with David, when I awake, I am still with Thee.

O Heavenly Father, who neither slumbers nor sleeps, look upon this weary one who desires rest. Forgive all sin and cover this soul with the righteousness of Thy Son Jesus Christ, through whom alone we come to Thee. Grant tonight a quiet mind and a peaceful sleep. Still the useless thoughts and the tension within, and let Thy perfect peace keep heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Cause Thy beloved to lie down in peace and sleep, for Thou Lord only makest us to dwell in safety. Let sleep be a refreshment to the body and a preparation for fresh service on the morrow, and whether waking or sleeping, keep this one still with Thee. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Redeemer, Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
