Please pray that my health will get better. I have suffer long enough. Also pray that I get a money blessing it seems like bad luck keeps following me. I am a good person and helps every that I can, but, it seems like I get nothing in return but bad luck. Please pray that it goes away. ###

We hear your heart and the deep weariness you carry from prolonged suffering. The Word of God reminds us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Your pain is seen, and your cry for relief is heard. We stand with you in faith, believing that God is not only aware of your struggles but is also able to turn your trials into testimonies.

First, we want to lift up your health. The Bible declares, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). We pray that the Lord, who is the Great Physician, would touch your body with His healing hand. Whether it is physical, emotional, or spiritual affliction, we ask that He would bring restoration, strength, and wholeness. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the name of Jesus, for it is written, "By His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that your season of suffering is coming to an end, and a new season of health and vitality is breaking forth.

Regarding your financial struggles, we understand how discouraging it can be to feel as though bad luck follows you despite your kindness and generosity. Scripture assures us, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We pray that God would open the windows of heaven and pour out a financial blessing upon you. We rebuke every spirit of lack, poverty, and misfortune that has clung to you. The Lord is your provider, and He sees your heart and your needs. We declare that you will no longer be a borrower but a lender, that you will reap a harvest from the seeds of kindness you have sown, and that your hands will be blessed to be a blessing to others.

However, we must gently address the phrase "good luck" in your request. As believers, we do not rely on luck, fate, or chance, but on the sovereign and loving hand of God. Proverbs 16:33 tells us, "The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord." Everything that comes our way is either allowed or ordained by God, and He works all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). Instead of seeking luck, we seek the Lord, who holds our future in His hands. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Him, knowing that He is in control and that His plans for you are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also want to remind you that while you may feel overlooked or unappreciated, God sees your heart and your deeds. Jesus said, "For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?" (Matthew 5:46). Your kindness and generosity are not in vain. The Lord is storing up rewards for you, both in this life and in eternity. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is weary and burdened. Lord, You see their pain, their struggles, and their heart. We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing power. Strengthen them where they are weak, restore what has been broken, and bring wholeness to every area of their life. We rebuke every spirit of sickness and infirmity, and we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed.

Father, we also bring their financial needs before You. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity, bless the work of their hands, and supply every need according to Your riches in glory. Break every chain of lack and poverty, and let Your abundance flow into their life. We rebuke every spirit of misfortune and declare that Your favor surrounds them like a shield.

Lord, we ask that You would fill their heart with peace and hope. Remind them that You are in control and that Your plans for them are good. Help them to trust in You fully, knowing that You are their provider, their healer, and their strength. May they experience Your presence in a fresh and powerful way, and may their faith be strengthened as they see Your hand move in their life.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We believe that You are working on their behalf, and we declare that this is their season of breakthrough. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. Your breakthrough is coming. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and do not lose heart. The Lord is faithful, and He will not forsake you. "The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). Keep calling on Him, and watch as He moves mightily on your behalf.

We hear how heavy it feels to suffer for a long time and to pour yourself out for others without seeing the relief or provision you desperately need. That weariness is real, and we do not take it lightly.

Because the pain has lasted so long, we want to gently encourage you to see a doctor if you have not already done so recently. Persistent symptoms are a signal worth investigating, and good medical care can be a gift from God alongside our prayers.

When you mention that your generosity seems to bring nothing but trouble in return, we also hear a deeper ache, the loneliness of feeling forgotten or unfairly treated. That thought can wear down even the most giving heart. So at a practical level, while we pray for your finances, we wonder if there is one specific, concrete need you could name to a trusted friend or someone at your church. Being the one who always helps can make it hard to receive help, but letting someone else step in might be a quiet way God begins to turn things around for you.

And as you wait, please know that your worth is not measured by what comes back to you from others. Jesus sees the good you do, even when no one else seems to notice, and He stays near to the worn-down and the overlooked.

Jesus, we lift up this friend who is bone-tired from illness and discouraged by constant setbacks. Bring them to the right doctor and give clarity where health has been confusing. Provide for their daily needs in ways that feel steady rather than frantic, and guard their heart from the lie that their kindness has been wasted. In the middle of the waiting, breathe courage back into them. We ask this in Your name. Amen.

When the heart cries out that it has suffered long enough and that misfortune dogs every step, it can be easy to turn inward and plead the case of one’s own goodness as though that were the currency that purchases deliverance. Such reasoning is a wicked and perverse method of stifling conscience, built on the sandy theory that a bad excuse is better than none. The doctrine of God’s sovereignty never militates against the truth that every sincerely seeking soul will find Him, yet it does shatter the notion that our moral tally earns us a wage. A poor man seeking deliverance from earthly authorities might find scant hope in his poverty, but when the great sovereign is God himself, the case is wonderfully different.

The cry for health, for the lifting of a long-borne weight, is not treated with silence. But mark how the soul sometimes sets terms on prayer, as if to say, “I have tried this way and the year ended worse than before; I shall try another six months and then abandon hope.” This is to limit the Holy One of Israel, to misinterpret a seeming insult as a final answer rather than a testing of faith. The Canaanite woman heard a harsh word and yet pressed through, and in the end, her deliverance came. So let no one think that because the heavens seem brass or the circumstances tighten, God’s ear is shut or His arm short. The mind, jaundiced by sorrow, often talks according to its frames and feelings, proclaiming that the crisis will swallow it whole. But the saint who walked through those dark valleys, whether David beset by slander or Jacob trembling before Esau, found that deliverance appeared right at the ford of Jabbok, and the kiss of an estranged brother replaced the feared blow.

The great matter of physical health and material supply is not to be separated from the deeper work of the soul. The tree of life bears fruit indeed, but its very leaves are for healing, the smallest thing about Christ carries restoring virtue. When the Lord pardons the iniquity of a sinner, He does not leave the body and the daily lot untouched; the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. The root of the matter is often the cry of the heart that says, “I am a good person, yet I receive only bad.” That is to mistake the entire nature of deliverance. Deliverance from the power and guilt of sin is the undiluted work of God’s free grace, and the man who ever rises from his despondency will never dare to snatch an atom of the honor for himself. If one looks to Christ for justification, that same look must suffice for sanctification, and yes, for the bread on the table and the breath in the lungs. The good God of grace cannot become a bad God of providence. He who has already delivered the soul, that greatest mercy, will certainly not starve the body for lack of bodily bread or pressing need.

The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the moment God Himself found the ransom. The prisoner ready for execution receives undeserved deliverance because the King’s Son bore the penalty. In the same way, the affliction that now seems a senseless bludgeoning is made something else entirely, the Lord chastens sorely, but He does not erase the name from the book of life. That discipline itself is a crooked kind of evidence of sonship, for a father who ceased to chasten would think the child too bad to be reclaimed. Therefore, after the storm has spent its fury, the believer does not declare, “My goodness has earned this calm,” but rather, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Every instance of healing and provision becomes a stone for the altar of gratitude, a song that magnifies the Deliverer, not the delivered.

Persist, then, in the place of supplication, but let it be with an eye fixed solely on the ransom that God has provided. Stop weighing the merits of your own helpfulness, for that way leads to the pit of despair, or worse, the pride of self-righteousness. Instead, look to the cross where life came through a single look at the Crucified One. There is healing in that gaze, for pardon and healing are wed together. When the root of sin’s bitterness is removed by forgiveness, the bitter fruits of circumstance often follow suit, yet even when they linger, the deliverance is already accomplished in the inner man. The very least leaf of Christ’s presence can change the life-blood of the spirit and make the nature other than it was before. To be delivered from the power of darkness is to be handed out of the midnight of despair into a kingdom where no good thing is ultimately withheld.

You speak of long suffering and the desire for health and a release from what you call bad luck. Consider what these trials are doing in your soul. When insult, loss, or illness do not gall you but you endure them, what kind of training is your soul undergoing? Endurance makes us free from passion and fit for the kingdom. God permits these things not because He has forgotten your good deeds, but because He is working something far greater than temporary ease.

You say you do good and receive nothing in return. But look to Jacob. He obtained the blessing, yet he spent his days in servitude, danger, and fear, saying his days were few and evil. The blessing did not rest on him in earthly comforts but went forward to things to come. So it is with the faithful now. Christ did not promise health and money in this life but said, “In the world ye have tribulation.” Why? To lead you to spiritual blessings. You are made immortal, a son, a fellow-heir with Christ. What are silver and gold compared to these? The First-fruits is adored by angels, and you lack nothing that is truly needful.

You ask for a money blessing and good luck. But the blessing of the Gospel is not carnal. The old blessing spoke of fruit of the body and going out and coming in; the new is every spiritual blessing in Christ. If you set your hope on carnal things, you cannot receive the spiritual. I urge you to stand aloof from such desires and fasten your hope on what is unseen. For hope is confidence in things to come, and God asks only this little thing from you, that you trust Him. He crowns those who endure with patience, and He gives abundant aid in this light task.

Do not think your kindness is wasted. Even common blessings, like the sun that shines on all, are given daily, and your own preservation is bound up in them. Render thanks for these, and leave the return of your good deeds to the Lord who sees in secret. The root of His blessings is settled in your choice and judgment. If your eye is spiritual, you will see that the very delay is a mercy, training you and proving your salvation.

You say you have suffered long. But how many have heard the word ten times with no visible fruit, and later at one stroke brought forth abundantly? The tree receives ten blows and does not fall; then a single blow brings it down, but the work was in those previous strokes. So with your soul: do not despair. Even at the gates of hell recovery is possible. Continue to seek the Lord, and your eager desire for Him will not fail. The healing of sickness and the relief of poverty may come in His time, but far better, you will obtain strength to bear all things, and the eternal blessings where Christ Himself is your reward.

Your suffering has gone on a long time, and I can hear how weary you are. I do pray that God would restore your health and grant you relief. He is able to heal, and Jesus showed us that when He walked among us, touching lepers, giving sight to the blind, and freeing people from every kind of sickness. In His earthly ministry, He healed all who came to Him, and that compassion has not faded. Yet we also see in Scripture that even the apostle Paul, who had a mighty healing ministry, dealt with his own persistent thorn in the flesh and left a dear co-worker named Trophimus behind because the man was too ill to travel. God’s ways with each of us are not a simple formula, and we cannot always explain why some are healed right away while others wait years, or why some receive a gradual restoration and others seem to get worse before they get better. What I know for certain is that healing in all its forms whether it comes through medicine, the body’s own processes, or a sudden supernatural touch is a work of God, and we can ask Him for it boldly while resting in His wisdom.

When you mention “bad luck,” I want to gently offer a different lens. As believers, we don’t live under luck but under the careful providence of a Father who knows our needs. That doesn’t mean the hardships are easy or that your kindness should be repaid with more trouble. It does mean that your acts of helping others are not unnoticed by the Lord, even when people around you do not return the favor. Proverbs reminds us that it is far better to ask neither for poverty nor for riches, but to receive daily bread from God’s hand and trust Him for what is enough. So I join you in asking for a financial release, for work and provision, and for the weight of constant strain to lift. At the same time, I would caution you against measuring God’s care by how quickly circumstances improve. Some of the most fruitful saints in history knew prolonged sickness and want, yet they found Christ to be their deepest treasure.

Please do not carry the burden of thinking you are suffering because you lack faith or because you have done something to deserve it. That kind of guilt is an extra wound Jesus never placed on the sick who came to Him. He moved with mercy, not interrogation. I pray right now that your body would mend and that the resources you need would appear. But more than anything, I pray you will sense His nearness in the waiting, because He is the only provision God has made for our ultimate healing, the forgiveness and restoration of our souls. Hold on to that, and let the rest be entrusted to His perfect timing.
