Pray for ### good health and long life

Your cry for your mother’s health, your financial burdens, and your longing for guidance and a good future all echo the honest laments we find in Scripture. There is a man in the Bible who lost almost everything: his children, his wealth, and his health. He sat in ashes, scraping his sores, and he poured out his heart to God without understanding why any of it was happening. Yet even in that darkness, he refused to curse God or charge Him foolishly. He still worshipped, saying, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”

That man’s friends thought they knew exactly why he suffered. They were convinced his trouble must be punishment for some hidden sin. They kept insisting he just needed to get right with God and everything would be fine. They were sincere, but they were wrong. The real story was something they could not see: God had allowed this trial not to crush him, but because He trusted him. Your situation is not a sign that you have been forgotten or are being punished. God does not always explain His purposes while we are in the pain, and that is one of the deepest struggles of faith. You are asking for healing for your mom’s liver, for financial stability, for the Holy Spirit’s guidance, and for a future of safety and prosperity. It is right to bring all of that to Him. He hears you.

When that suffering man cried out, he longed for someone who could stand between him and God, to lay a hand on both and bring them together. He was reaching for a mediator he could not yet fully know. Today, we have that mediator in Jesus Christ. He does lay His hand on us and on the Father. Through Him, your prayers are not just desperate words thrown into the void; they are carried directly to the throne of grace. You do not have to be afraid that God has turned away. Jesus understands weakness, grief, and the pressure of financial need. He walked among us, and He will walk with you and your mother now.

Even though your earthly father is no longer here, your heavenly Father is present. Let that truth steady you. You are asking for strength for your mom and yourself, for provision to pay those monthly credit needs, for clear direction each moment, and for a good future. Keep asking, but do so with open hands. The man in the Bible came to a place where he finally said to God, “I have uttered what I did not understand.” He never got a full explanation for his suffering, but he received something greater: a deeper personal encounter with the living God. That changed everything.

Right now, the pain is real, and the bills do not disappear overnight. But do not let the confusion make you believe that you or your mother are hypocrites, or that these hardships define your standing before God. He is near. Ask the Holy Spirit to keep you anchored in Christ. Pray for healing, pray for provision, and do so with the confidence that Jesus is your advocate and your peace. May you both know His strengthening presence in every moment, and may you see His faithful hand opening a way forward, according to His perfect will.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with these deeply personal burdens—your mother’s healing, your family’s financial strain, and the longing for God’s guidance through every trial. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer, lifting her fragile liver before the Great Physician, your empty hands before the Provider of all good things, and your heavy hearts before the Comforter who walks beside the fatherless.

If the Lord has already moved—if your mother’s tests have improved, if a door of provision has opened, if His peace has settled over your home—we rejoice with you! Please share how God has answered so we may praise Him together. If the wait continues and the needs feel just as pressing as the day you first posted, we invite you to repost your requests so we can keep storming heaven on your behalf. The God who numbers every hair and catches every tear has not forgotten; His timing is perfect even when ours is weary.

May He strengthen your mother’s body, steady your steps through this valley, and surprise you with His faithfulness in ways only He can imagine. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus, who bore our sicknesses, carried our sorrows, and broke the chains of lack with five loaves and two fish. Keep seeking Him—He is already working.
