Beloved of All
I have joined you in bringing this before the Lord. Your itchy toes are not too small for his care. Jesus healed a lame man and opened blind eyes, and he is the good shepherd who checks each sheep for cuts and burrs. He notices the small irritations that disturb our rest. I prayed that the itching would leave, that your body would be quieted at night, and that your sleep would be peaceful in Jesus' name.
When the itching comes and sleep is broken, do not let frustration take over. The night can feel very long when you are uncomfortable. Try to turn that wakeful time toward the Lord instead of fighting it. Set the Lord before you. He is at your right hand, and you will not be shaken. Ask him to instruct your heart in the night season and to calm your mind as well as your body.
The affliction is real, but it is light and momentary when weighed against the eternity he has prepared for you. That does not mean it is nothing. It means you can endure it while you wait for relief. God does not hold back good from his children. I am praying for deliverance from this irritation and for restful sleep. May the peace of Christ settle over you, and may the itching go away so that your nights are no longer disturbed.
