We hear the deep anguish in your hearts and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your family before the throne of grace. The Word of God assures us that "we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). What you describe is not mere coincidence or bad luck—it is a spiritual battle, and we must fight it with the weapons God has given us.
First, we must rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The devil comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that every curse, every spirit of poverty, division, and despair operating against your household is broken now by the blood of Jesus. The Lord rebuke you, Satan, and all your demonic forces! We stand on the promise that "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me" (Isaiah 54:17).
We also must examine if there is any open door in your lives that may be giving the enemy legal ground to oppress you. Have there been any unconfessed sins, unforgiveness, or involvement in occult practices—even unknowingly—by any family member? The Bible warns, "Do not turn to mediums or spiritists; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God" (Leviticus 19:31). If there has been any such involvement, we urge you to renounce it immediately, repent, and ask the Lord to cleanse your family. The blood of Jesus has power to break every chain!
We also encourage you to stand firm in faith and not be moved by the circumstances. The enemy wants you to feel hopeless, but God’s Word says, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11). Even when it seems like blessings are being stolen, remember that God is able to restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep standing on His promises.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. Lord, we lift up this precious family to You, knowing that You see their pain, their struggles, and their heartache. We ask that You would break every chain of darkness that has been oppressing them for these many years. We rebuke every spirit of poverty, division, strife, and despair in Jesus’ name. We declare that Your light will shine into their darkness, and Your peace will reign in their home.
Father, we ask that You would restore what the enemy has stolen. Restore their unity, their love, their peace, and their prosperity. Heal their relationships, especially the marriage of their son, and bring reconciliation where there has been division. Lord, surround them with Your presence and let them feel Your love in a tangible way. Raise up godly friends and fellowship for them so they are no longer isolated.
We ask that You would fill them with fresh faith and hope. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace. Help them to stand firm on Your Word and not be moved by the circumstances. We declare that this family will walk in victory, in the fullness of what You have for them. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for moving mightily on their behalf. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue in prayer and fasting, standing on God’s promises. Gather as a family to pray together, confessing God’s Word over your lives. Speak life, not death, over your circumstances. The enemy wants to keep you silent, but God has given you a voice to declare His truth. We also urge you to seek out a strong, Bible-believing church community if possible. You were not meant to walk this journey alone, and God often uses His people to bring encouragement and support.
Remember, "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). The battle is already won through Christ, and you will see His victory manifest in your lives. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. He is faithful, and He will not abandon you.
