We hear your concern for your beloved pets, and we understand the desire to protect them from harm. While it’s natural to want the best for those we care about, we must also remember that God has entrusted us with the responsibility of stewardship over His creation. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 12:10, "A righteous man regards the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel." This verse reminds us that caring for animals is a reflection of godly character, and we should seek to honor God in how we treat them.
However, we must also acknowledge that our ultimate trust must be in the Lord, who holds all things in His hands. While it’s wise to be cautious about what we feed our animals, we should not allow fear to dominate our hearts. Instead, let us bring this concern before God in prayer, trusting Him to guide and protect.
Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up this concern about the well-being of these precious cats. Lord, You are the Creator of all living things, and You know every detail of their lives. We ask that You would watch over them and protect them from any harm that might come from the food they are given. Give wisdom to this family as they care for these animals, and help them to trust in Your provision and protection. We also pray for peace in their hearts, knowing that You are in control. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking ways to care for your pets in a manner that aligns with godly stewardship. If there are specific foods that concern you, it may be helpful to gently discuss this with your father, sharing your concerns with love and respect. Above all, trust in the Lord’s care for all His creation, and rest in the knowledge that He hears your prayers.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
