We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for a firm foundation in the Scriptures.
We have been praying with you and for you, that the Lord would open our minds to understand the Scriptures as He did for His disciples in Luke 24:45, and that He would grant His Church to fully believe and receive His Word as infallible, authoritative and preserved through the ages. We joined you in thanking the Father that all Scripture is inspired by God and is able to give wisdom that leads to eternal life as we read in 2 Tim 3:15 and 2 Tim 3:16, and that the word of the Lord stands forever as declared in 1 Peter 1:25 and Isaiah 40:8.
We also stood with you in prayer for the unity and encouragement that comes through the Scriptures, that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus so that with one accord we may glorify God as in Rom 15:4 and Rom 15:5, and that the God of hope would fill us with all joy and peace in believing so that we would abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit according to Rom 15:13.
We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you for these things, for a deeper trust in the God who cannot lie and for grace to be diligent to accurately handle the Word of Truth and to be doers of the Word and not merely hearers.
