Beloved of All
📖 Father, We thank You that Jesus not only referred to Scripture as authoritative, unable to be broken, but "Jesus said to them, 'These are the words I spoke to you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms. Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,” Luke 24:44-45. "For 'The word of the Lord stands forever.' And this is the word that was proclaimed to you," 1 Peter 1:25. Peter continues to testify in his 2nd Epistle, "We also have the Word of the prophets as confirmed beyond doubt. And you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from one’s own interpretation. 21 For no such prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit," 2 Peter 1:19-21. "Consider also that our Lord's patience brings salvation, AS OUR BELOVED BROTHER PAUL HAS WRITTEN, ACCORDING TO THE WISDOM GIVEN HIM FROM GOD. He writes the same way in ALL HIS LETTERS, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people distort, AS THEY DO THE REST OF THE SCRIPTURES, to their own destruction," 2 Peter 3:15-16.

🧎🏽‍♂️God Grant That We Your Church May Fully Believe and Understand Your Scriptures, Luke 24:44-45: Infallibility and Benefits of Scripture: Gives Wisdom that Leads to Eternal Life, 2 Tim 3:15-16, Inspired by God, 2 Tim 3:16, Encourages Trust, Authority of "God Who Cannot Lie," Titus 1:2, Hebrews 6:18, "Thus by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be strongly encouraged," Numbers 23:19, "God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill? 1 Samuel 15:29, "Moreover, the Glory of Israel does not lie or change His mind, for He is not a man, that He should change His mind.” The Scriptures Encourage Unity, as Jesus in The High Priestly Prayer Prays We Would All Be One, John 17:1-26, Unity in Christ, "Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment," 1 Cor 1:10, Perseverance, Filling Us with ALL JOY and PEACE in BELIEVING, that We Abound in Hope, Rom 15:4-13...

🙇🏻 Father, Thank You for the command that You gave Your people to not bear false witness, to which the inspired authors faithfully adhered, even promising punishment to those who do so, Prov 19:5. We thank You for not only inspiring ALL The Scriptures, 2 Tim 3:16, but for guarding and preserving them through the ages by committing them to painstaking writing keeping them from the corruption of man and deceitfulness of the serpent for infallible accuracy -- As new archeological findings CONTINUE to reinforce that SURELY God Almighty is able to keep Your Word pure, as it is written, Luke 16:17, "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law," and Matthew 24:35, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away," and Luke 21:33, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away," and Psalm 12:6, "The words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace, like gold purified sevenfold," and Isaiah 40:8, "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."

đź“–"For EVERYTHING WRITTEN in earlier times WAS WRITTEN FOR OUR INSTRUCTION, so that through PERSEVERANCE and the ENCOURAGEMENT of THE SCRIPTURES, we might have hope. Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant us to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord we may with one voice glorify Him as God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ," Rom 15:4-6. "And may the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in BELIEVING, so that we all will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13, Thank You for THE SCRIPTURES, inspired by The Holy Spirit, 2 Peter 1:19-21, help us "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the Word of Truth, 2 Tim 2:15, help us understand, Luke 24:45, believe, John 5:47, Luke 16:29-31, Heb 3:12 and be doers of the Word not merely hearers, James 1:22-23. LET FAITH COME FROM HEARING THE WORD, Rom 10:17. Thank You in Jesus' Name.[/size]

We join with you in thanking our Father for the firm foundation we have in His Word and for the great benefits of the Scriptures that you have so beautifully lifted up in prayer.

We agree that all Scripture is God breathed and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work, 2 Tim 3:16-17, and that from infancy the sacred writings are able to make us wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15. We praise God that Jesus Himself treated Scripture as authoritative and unbreakable, and that He opened the minds of His disciples to understand the Scriptures, saying Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, Luke 24:44-45. We cling to the promise that the word of the Lord remains forever, 1 Pet 1:25, and that the grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever, Isa 40:8.

We are strengthened by the testimony that we have the word of prophecy made more sure, to which we do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in our hearts, knowing that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation, for no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit, 2 Pet 1:19-21. We thank God that even as Peter affirmed Paul's letters as Scripture, noting that some things in them are hard to understand which the ignorant and unsettled twist as they do also the other Scriptures to their own destruction, 2 Pet 3:15-16, the Lord has preserved His Word pure, for the words of Yahweh are flawless words, as silver refined in a clay furnace, purified seven times, Ps 12:6, and it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tiny stroke of a pen to fall out of the law, Luke 16:17, and heaven and earth will pass away, but His words will by no means pass away, Matt 24:35.

We rejoice that our hope rests on the God who cannot lie, Titus 1:2, and that by two immutable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us, Heb 6:18. For God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent, Num 23:19, and the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent, for he is not a man, that he should repent, 1 Sam 15:29. Because His Word is true and His character is faithful, we can trust every promise and every warning, and we thank Him for the command not to bear false witness and for the faithful men who recorded His Word without deceit, knowing that a false witness will not be unpunished, Prov 19:5.

We also join you in praying for unity and perseverance through the Scriptures, for whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through perseverance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope, Rom 15:4. We ask that the God of perseverance and encouragement will grant us to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, that with one accord we may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Rom 15:5-6, and that there be no divisions among us but that we be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment, 1 Cor 1:10, even as Jesus prayed that we all may be one, John 17:21. We pray that the God of hope will fill us with all joy and peace in believing, that we may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit, Rom 15:13.

We pray together, Father, we thank You for Your Word that gives wisdom leading to eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. We thank You for inspiring every Scripture and for guarding and preserving it through the ages. Grant to Your church that we may fully believe and understand Your Scriptures as You opened the minds of the disciples, Luke 24:45. Help us to be diligent to present ourselves approved by You, workers who do not need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth, 2 Tim 2:15, and to be doers of the Word and not hearers only, James 1:22. Let faith come to us and to those who hear us by hearing Your Word, Rom 10:17, and let us not have an evil heart of unbelief, Heb 3:12, but believe all that Moses and the Prophets have spoken, John 5:47. Keep us from distorting Your Word and lead us into all truth by Your Spirit, that we may persevere, be encouraged, be unified, and abound in hope as we await the day dawns in our hearts. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, for it is only through Him that we have access to You and salvation, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and we thank You that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life, John 3:16. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We loved reading your prayer of thanks for God's Word. It is clear how deeply you treasure it as a firm foundation and how much joy it has brought you to see its wisdom, trustworthiness and power to bring unity and hope.

We join you in thanking God that He has not left us without guidance, but has given us His Word to teach us, steady us and keep pointing us to Christ. Your gratitude for its preservation and faithfulness over generations is a beautiful reminder to us all not to take this gift for granted.

One simple way to keep this thankfulness alive is to keep letting what you are thanking God for shape daily life with others. When a particular truth has encouraged you, share it in your own words with someone in your church or family that week and talk about how you are trying to live it out. That kind of sharing helps truth move from belief into practice and helps build the unity you prayed for.

Father, we thank You with our friend for Your Word and for Your faithfulness to keep it. Keep opening our minds to understand it, help us to believe it and to live it faithfully, and make us one in Christ as we walk by it. Keep our hope rooted in You. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join with you in thanking our gracious Father for His sure and abiding Word, and we add our Amen to your prayer that He would open our minds to understand the Scriptures even as He opened the minds of His disciples.

You have well said that all Scripture is breathed out by God and is profitable, and that it is able to make us wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. The letter alone kills, but the Spirit quickens, and the true saving knowledge is not merely to know texts and doctrines, but to know Christ Himself who is set forth therein. From Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms, all points to Him, and every promise finds its Yea and Amen in Him. To know Christ and to trust Him, this is the saving trust of which Paul spoke when he said, I know whom I have believed.

We bless God that His Word stands forever while the grass withers and the flower fades. Heaven and earth shall pass away but His words shall never pass away. They are flawless as silver refined in a furnace seven times, and not a single stroke of the pen shall fail. What a mercy that we have a lamp shining in a dark place until the day dawns, and that men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit, so that we may take God at His word and believe Him. It is true humility to receive what comes straight from the throne of God and to rest upon it without raising doubts against our faithful Mother who cannot lie, for God is not a man that He should lie, and by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie we have strong encouragement who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us.

We pray with you that faith may indeed come by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ, and that believing in Christ may be the ground of our joy and peace. Believing is simply trusting Christ who was sent of God to save sinners, and those sinners who trust Him to save them are saved. Trusting Christ cures trusting self, and as we continue in His Word we abide in Him as in a refuge. Let our whole thought and desire and speech be colored and savored by full faith in Jesus, entering into His Word as a man into a stream to live there.

We ask also with you for perseverance and encouragement through the Scriptures, that we might have hope and be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus, that with one accord we may with one voice glorify God even as our Lord prayed that we all may be one. The Word of God is like a fire to warm the cold and drowsy heart and like a hammer to break the hard and stony heart, and it is also sweet to the taste, sweeter than honey to the mouth, so that the more we are taught of divine things the more precious the truth as it is in Jesus becomes to us.

May the Lord make us workers who do not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the Word of truth, not merely hearers but doers, kept from distorting the hard things to our own destruction, but established upon the firm foundation which cannot be broken. May the God of hope fill you and all His people with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, and may He keep His Word pure and powerful among us till He comes.
