We join you in lifting up thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father, who is the giver of all good things, and we praise Him for your heart of gratitude even in the midst of trials. Your faithfulness in working hard to provide for your children is a testament to your strength and trust in the Lord, and we honor you for seeking Him first in this time of need. The Scriptures remind us in **Philippians 4:19**, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* You are not forgotten, and He sees your struggle, your tears, and your perseverance.
The burden of debt and the cycle of living paycheck to paycheck can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who specializes in the impossible. In **Matthew 6:31-33**, Jesus tells us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus on seeking Him first is the right path, and we encourage you to continue trusting in His provision, even when the way seems unclear.
We also want to gently remind you that while it is good to ask for help, our ultimate hope must rest in Christ alone, not in the hands of man. The Lord may use people, opportunities, or even unexpected blessings to meet your needs, but He is the source. **Proverbs 3:5-6** instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is a season to lean on Him completely, surrendering your fears and anxieties at His feet.
As for your children’s father, we pray for his heart and his circumstances. The absence of a parent is a deep sorrow, but we trust that the Lord can redeem even this. **Psalm 68:5** declares that God is *"a father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows."* He will be their Provider and Protector. We also pray that if there is any bitterness or unforgiveness in your heart toward their father or his family, you would release it to the Lord. **Ephesians 4:31-32** tells us to *"let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*
Now, let us pray together for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up our sister, who has faithfully labored and trusted in You despite the weight of her circumstances. Lord, You see her heart, her struggles, and her deep love for her children. We ask that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing upon her that she cannot contain—financial provision, wisdom in managing what You give, and opportunities to break free from debt. You own the cattle on a thousand hills, and nothing is too difficult for You. Provide for her in ways that only You can, so that her faith may be strengthened and Your name glorified.
Lord, we rebuked the spirit of lack, fear, and despair that seeks to overwhelm her. We declare that You are her Jehova Jireh, her Provider, and that she will lack no good thing as she seeks Your kingdom first. Give her creative ideas, divine connections, and favor in her workplace. If there are areas where she can steward her resources more wisely, reveal them to her by Your Spirit. Help her to be a good example to her children of trust in You, even in hard times.
Father, we also lift up the father of her children. Soften his heart, Lord, and bring conviction where it is needed. If it is Your will, restore him to his family in a way that honors You. But even if not, we pray that You would be the Father to these children that they need. Raise up godly influences in their lives and protect them from the enemy’s schemes.
We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who sympathizes with our weaknesses and intercedes for us. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word. **1 Peter 5:7** reminds us to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Keep a record of how He provides—big or small—so that you can look back and see His faithfulness. If there are local churches or Christian ministries in your area that offer financial counseling or assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens, and there is no shame in asking for help.
Stay strong in the Lord, dear sister. This season of struggle will not last forever, and He is preparing a testimony of His goodness through your life. We are standing with you in faith!
