Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your request for financial help and for your family to support you has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with care and compassion.
God knows your need and He is your true provider. Scripture reminds us that He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and He often does this through the love and help of family and brothers and sisters in the faith. As it is written, brother aided by brother becomes like a fortified city, and true friendship is shown not only in sharing a table but in helping one another away from danger and toward what is good.
We pray that God will give you wisdom and humility as you speak with your family, that He will open their hearts to hear you with love, and that He will give you all grace to speak honestly and without demanding. We pray also that He will help you to provide for what is necessary for health and life, and to use whatever is given with careful stewardship. We are taught not to make provision for excess and wantonness, but to seek what is needed for health and for the care of spiritual things, spending our labor on what endures and trusting God for daily bread. The present life passes quickly, and riches or want are not the final measure, but faithfulness to God is.
We encourage you to give heed to the Scriptures and to let them guide your steps in this time. There you will find both comfort and clear direction, and you will be better able to stand firm and to help others as well. Continue in prayer, continue in honest work as God enables you, and keep fellowship with your church family who can counsel you and bear this burden with you.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we lift up this need to You. You know the financial pressure and the longing for family help. Provide for what is truly needed, give wisdom to manage what You provide, and move the hearts of family members to show love and support in a way that honors You. Grant peace where there is anxiety, guidance where there is uncertainty, and hope in Your faithful care. Lead all decisions by Your Word and keep this family close to You. Amen.
